Other than fingerprint lock, it has higher storage of 32GB compared to 16GB of Z3 dual. Voice clarity also greatly improved and also wifi signal holding.
My major issue with Z3 was the charger flap. You need to open the flap for charging. Repeated opening and closing makes the flap loose and waterproof is lost. Z5 is an improvement on this
Battery performance i feel both are same

My phone experience is very bad .just go for z3 or z3 plus the only thing you dont get the finger print scanner all the best

I. Love my sony devices but i have a bad experience with my z5dual sim it looks very cheap and the bending issues unfortunately when i kept in my pocket the phone get bend three places and no problem with my phone is working well i dont blame sony my z3 is very very good iam thinking why i upgrade my phone and if you have z3 or z3 plus just stick on that don't upgrade to z5.pleace sony your service centers are very poor campare to samsung,lg,and Microsoft my request is to give us good service if our devices get any service problems and issues of any accessories

I have a question about 4g/3g/2g on the two cards. I've seen a US video about switching LTE usage (4g) between sim cards - but the Network Mode menu options had WCDMA, GSM, WCDMA (preferred)/GSM & LTE(preferred)/WCDMA/GSM. What options are there on a GSM/3G/4G (LTE) phone? I assume it's going to be similar - but with 3G replacing WCDMA? Does that mean that you can have Sim1 set to 3G(preferred)/GSM and Sim2 set to LTE(preferred)/3G/GSM? I'm thinking not as that would mean two data sims - which I don't think is possible?
It's a bit of a bind as I'd like to use one sim for data - but the other sim I have only works on 3g/4g (as it's a Three sim - but I don't want to use up the data plan on that).

i am planning to buy z5 dual but is it worth waiting for xperia x performance. though performance can be quite a more expensive than z5 dual. The price in India for xeperia X is itself about 49k.

It is an excellent phone concerning speed, performance and particularly the camera is really superb
The does heat on two things, prolonged browsing with mobile data and prolonged video recording
If u r on wifi all time, u will not notice heat
Sure the z5 premium is better, but i picked this z5 cause of size matters,
I see xperia x is not its true successor
But i will wait to see user opinions' for some time after release, if the x also heats i will stick to my z5, coz let us face the truth that other than the xperia z3 and z3c, nearly all xperia phones do heat or at least get warm,
Lets wait for x and see

a week ago i bought z5 dual. overall, its good phone. only one thing is i couldnt use my SBH52 directly call from it due to of dual sim selection manually on phone screen. only lite heat pbm. but acceptable.
