Sony Xperia Z5 Premium

Looking for feedbacks on its touchscreen. Like previous models such as z1, when the phone comes in contact with water, your touch wouldn't be accurate plus the screen will go crazy. Is this issue gonna happen with z5 premium?

Sam Mitchell , 03 Jun 2016After extensive research from online reviews and blog sites... moreI do really think it's down to personal opinion on most things, but I feel your putting down of the s7 compared to the z5p is completely wrong. I myself own both a z5p and s7 edge and the s7 edge is multitudes superior. Even down to the screen which the Sony (should) demolish any other phone.
The sony has 4k, sure, but it's on a LCD panel which doesn't match up to a Quad HD super Amoled. The Sony has a 23MP camera, sure, but the pixels are tiny and it's apature is bad because of this, also it can be very blurred when zooming in. The samsung has a 12MP camera but is honestly the best camera I have ever used on a phone, and honestly outshines many dslr cameras I've owned.
The Sony phone may be what YOU are looking for, but you will be in the .1%. If anyone is reading this, go buy yourself an s7 edge or s7. Don't waste your money unless the only thing you care about is playing ps4 on your phone. It's incredible how much better in EVERY ASPECT the s7 is.

And, the result is that when you scan, it's a lot more faster which makes me really like it. ... So, I think maybe you could try and it might increases from 2/5 to 5/5 or 4/5. Hope this would help :)

Hi all New purchasers congrats for ur New phone
Would you please tell me honestly is the earpiece volume during calls is low or loud?
I tried before 2 water proof Sony mobiles and I can barely hear the call I sold One after 2 weeks and the other one I tried it before buying another phone.
So how it is the earpiece volume performance of z5 premium?

I just purchased one. Till now only overheated once and in fact turned off automatically. Although I have nothing to complain about, I however am still not satisfied with the volume of the hands free speaker. The same problem I had with my Xperia Z. It would be helpful if any one who encountered the same problem can give his advice.

After extensive research from online reviews and blog sites. I went ahead and purchased an S7 to replace my aging LG G PRO. Biggest let down I've ever made. The quality of a Samsung phone just isn't what it used to be. I was left with going back to Apple or try something new with Sony.
So when I got the phone I was amazed by the feel and look of the phone. This phone is beautifully crafted. The phone UI is so plain and simple I just couldn't believe my eyes. It's almost stock Android which I love tinkering with. And the 4K screen is amazing when viewing multimedia. The online reviews are completely wrong about this phone. Just to add, the PSN features and remote camera app is what sold it for me. Being able to play PS4 games on a phone just knocked me off my feet.
What shocks me is that I got this for 565 usd. Best phone I've ever bought. Sony did it right on this phone. It has everything I need.
If anyone plans on getting this phone, get the chrome version. You'll get tons of complements and comparisons.

This phone is great performance wise, camera is fantastic, sound is great. The feel and screen size is perfect!!
NOW, the screen is very low light and battery overheats if you use the screen above 60% brightness for more then 15 min. REALLY HOT!
Also the fingerprintscanner to unlock.... i love the phone but lose patience with that stupid unlock button. Unlocks 2/5 times.,... they were not ready for this and now we(clients) have pay for it.
I wish that button had more work done on it !

I think the quality of photo is good even though the automode is not that good compared to Iphone. But if you know how to use manualmode, i feel that it's better. And, for other performances I didnt play games that much so I think the battery is enough for me to play Line, instragram, website, sometimes youtube and taking photo. And, one last thing is the screen. It is pretty awesome to watch HD video, but if your video doesnt have at least 480p, it can be difficult to watch on this bigger screen with 5.5.
Overall, I like this phone with the design. Lol

I have one too and no regrets whatsoever.
And i tried S7, Note 5, HTC M9 and G4 before.
Xperia Z5 Premium was the better choice hands down.
Snappy, better battery, better UI, better signals (GPS, wifi and GSM), the possibility to move apps do SDcard, the r/w speed in external memory...
It's the complete package in a gorgeous look!
There's nothing as beautiful as this chrome piece of art!
