I have the Sony Xperia Z5 premium. Love the phone it has bugs which can be fix with software update. Battery life is good I am a heavy user and battery life is good some time I change my phone one a day if I don't use it hard battery life is 2 day of life. Camera is grate 4k screen 23mp camera it has everything you need from an android phone. Can't wait for marshmallow update hopefully it fix the problem like slow to take photo. And improve overall everything. Best phone I've had. Got lgg4 and I like that to but Z5 has better features

Wolfowitz, 29 Jan 2016I am torn between LG V10, Sony Z5, Z5 Premium and Nexus 6P.... more1, Sony's camera is superb, i have the normal Z5 and i've experienced no issues with it (i must mention that i take a lot of photos)
2, Battery life...again, superb! More than satisfied with it, never let me down.
3, UI has lagged on me a couple times when i forgot to close down the running applications (talking about more than 15-25...i'm really social, plus love to browse the web and play Clash of Clans... :D ), so yes, I've experienced a little lag, but it all disappeared after i closed them.
In my opinion, the LG V10 has some amazing capabilities for recording both video and audio and for taking pictures, however the display lacks of brightness, as it's kinda hard to see in direct sunlight.
I don't know much about the Nexus 6P, but i know that it's camera is also superb, however the device itself is quiet tall in my opinion.
If i''d be you, i'd go for the Sony Z5/Premium as it offers everything most people would need from a flagship device. (Waterproof (usable when its raining IMO), good camera, amazing display, good speakers (not so loud though, but quality) and great experience)
Hope it helped you out at least a little bit :)

Yesterday there was comments about the Z series with self cracking screens, stating a 25% failure rate. I posted before about my Z3+ cracked screen and are considering buying the Z5. Is 25% failure rate still a problem with the Z5 ?

I am torn between LG V10, Sony Z5, Z5 Premium and Nexus 6P.
The most important factors to me are the following:
1. Picture/camera quality
2. Battery life (it should last at least one day of moderate use)
3. If possible little or no frustrating UI lag
Any recommendations??

So, I can tell you all from first hand experience that the Z series have a real problem with self cracking screens. I want a Z5, but until Sony says that it's nasty problem is fixed, I will be changing brands.

I use it not for play but for business.
Only the basic functions and webserver programs.
There is a bug when open and message to read.
It gives you "resizing video" frame.
2. Another bug. When you are are call list and you touch search, it gives me dublicated contacts. when I go at the contacts there is not any more double. (i have filtered. Have set-up as i wanted accourding to my accounts.
3 when open call list it take a little time to show up all the recent call list.
4. The messages work slow when I search a message.
Even when I open it is slow in showing the list of recent messages.
5. Write me and i will be gkad to send you a screen shot of resizing video.
For the rest is a nice phone.

My Z3+ was only 7 months old and in perfect condition. It was on the kitchen table overnight and in the morning the front screen was cracked. My house is with air conditioning. Sony refused to repair the screen. Same problem happened to a friend of mine.
