I love my sony xperia z ultra but when i submerge it underwater do i have to cover the small hole where i use to plug in my headset? Thanks

I love my Xperia Z Ultra.
Really good performa is OK. Really water proof. Exellent design. Display was awasome. Best in price.

I loved this device.. but battery life is too poor.it should be more than 4000mh.

Why Sony release a midrange XA Ultra with mediatek chipset and mali gpu.? I would have bought an XA ultra upgrade with 23mp back camera with flash, 5mp front camera, 32gb internal storage and 6'44 inch display.. I don't mind if they put a snapdragon 800 and andreno 330 gpu on it because most of midrange cpu and gpu as of now can't beat the snapdragon 800 in terms of gaming.. Why don't make a midrange device with the older flagship's cpu.? For me snapdragon 800 was the best for mobile device.. It doesn't throttle and overheat like most of flagship chipset as of now..

my xperia z ultra is dumped into water and then it is not working properly....and company says that this phone is water proof....bt i did't got replacement of my phone by company...

I've notice my z ultra rear camera its 30fps after android 5.1.1 not smooth,on kitkat 4.4.4 is 60fps before snap any picture..front camera is improve increase clear view..but rear camera is horrible on android 5.1.1..sony please fix this issue on next marsmellow update...

I have this phone for about a year.. Honestly till now I haven't face any lag issues or heat up issues. Camera quality is fantastic in daylight and lowlight imaging is also very good. It has a very simple,attractive and very beautiful interface by which your heart may get attached easily. Awesome sleek design. I always feel proud to carry smartphone like this in my pocket. #Best

Had this phone for about one year, encountered no problems whatsoever, no lagging, no freezes, never had to reboot and I downloaded bunch of apps that use most of Ram but the phone never failed me, so fast so smooth. I have no problem with battery life, i am constantly using it. One big huge disappointment is the front camera is basically useless, the back camera is decent. Overall I love the big size screen with amazing resolution and bright colors. Love this humungous phone ☺👏👏👏

I thing a new sony xperia xa ultra cannot replace my current z ultra,..the good things in z ultra is adreno 330 gpu,X-reality,optic panel triluminos display made by sony for best watching movies and gaming...XA ultra is just use a weak mediatek helio p10 cpu and weaker mali-t860mp2 gpu,weak 2700mah battery life..new antutu 3D benchmark score on my z ultra now is 52000 something on android 5.1.1...

This phone is indeed monster when it came to gaming and surfing no lag or anything even its 3 years past when its released cant wait to try the upcoming sony xperia x ultra.... Itried samsung and iphone but i prefer to choose sony now

Really best smartphone/phablet/tablet I've ever had. Very elegant and suite with my Z5 compact :) #anybody has more than 1 gadget.
I don't need another tablet /ipad.

my z ultra gave up.(under warranty) sony dealer could not fix it.And offered me new z3 plus.free of charge.Is that a good deal?

I don't know why Sony kind of killed the entire Ultra series. All they give us are the downgraded models. XA Ultra is a joke. Only if they gave it a flagship treatment with some flagship specifications, i would have paid whatever amount of money they Sony would have asked. All the love I have for this device, and none worthy succeeded.

Sony have just released a mid range phone to upgrade from the high end Z Ultra, how stupid!, the specs of the XA Ultra are sub standard, only 6" display downsized from a 6.44" display, a really awful Mediatek P10 chipset, as many have said, only good enough to take pictures with, but not good enough for watching FHD movies or gaming. Should have had either the SD820 or the SD823 chipset together with a 6.4 to 6.8" display, would have been perfect.

AnonD-350424, 05 May 2016Please dont treat it like NOKIA 3310.Tested and proven, accidentally my Z Ultra dropped, I really noticed that the screen was the contact on the ground, and upturned when it dropped. I picked it up, my Z Ultra smiles and nothings happen, Z Ultra Rocks... Thanks to Sony.
