Amazing 6.5 mm slim design and powerful Snapdragon 800, however poor battery and camera in compensation. Besides, while its 6.5 inch Full HD screen is good, this device is cumbersome

Better look, better specs and if you're main concern is mega has flash...then buy one. Z ultra also have an external flash to mount where you use the phone on dock.

Looks pretty awesome and I'm thinking about buying my first smartphone in my life so would you recommend z ultra for me knowing that I don't care so much about camera and its flash but I care about if it can run high-end games perfectLy smoothly(like modern combat 5 - gta san Andreas and other very heavy games) please tell me mates if it's gonna run games smoothly for upcoming years and thanks.

Because the camera screen had dots its not clear... When we want to take a photo in night we have many trouble to take photographs.. Because the phone hasn't a flashlight...otherwise the Sony expiriya Z ultra is superb.. I love it...

If you are looking for a very good camera..than go for Digicamz...

I bought Sony Xperia Z Ultra a week back. I am noticing a very small shiny dot on left top side of the screen. Is it normal with phones having this issue? Or Is it a problem with the screen, can it get worse in coming days. Can anyone explain this to me?

My biggest surprise is that there is none like Z ultra...it is almost impossible to improve it.
The moment they decide to do a Z ultra with 20.7 MP camera; that will spell doom to Samsung-Galaxy and many other camera phones.
Look here, my friend....I have almost all high end phones but they all reside at home because of Xperia Z Ultra...With the detachable lens....woosh...beauty at a glance...
I declared that I rather look odd in the size of the phone but enjoy the goodies..
I love this phone with superfast internet access and superb specifications,.,.,.,premium look, office support, ...CM browser makes it a breeze, better than I thought Sony would do...now I love Love, LOve, LOVe, and LOVE...

abhishek], 30 Jul 2014you should buy note 2 ,it is best ,I had the Note 2 from Nov 2012 until I got the Z ultra last week. When I first go the note I loved it but shortly after the 1 yr warranty expired the phone began having cell reception issues and would randomly drop service after having full bars without a change in location. hen the headphone jack failed and a new one didn't fix it b/c the problem was with the motherboard. The cpu is too close to the modem on the motherboard and the amount of heat the cpu puts out likely fried the modem. Maybe I just got a lemon but the poor design of the internal workings of the phone upset me.
