i have C6... moreHighly not recommended...
Do not update to Kitkat,there are so many bugs like sound problems,heating and unstability problems,please read sony forums and blogs.

Who updated their z ultrato 4.4kitkat? Hows your battery? How long does it last? Charge time? Heavy usage time? Normal usage time?

Hello...patience over cnt keep more for sony india official kk update..
Get on xda developers
And flash c6833 firmware with latest flashtool
..
And ur device wil hav the latest kk 4.4.2
Flast it on ur own risk..for more info check out xda...

I have read opinions of users of experia z1 and z1compact complaining on issues after kit Kat updates.
However l also updated my z1 ultra, but l have not seen any issues and is working excellent.
Don't you think you better buy this model?

Still no kit kat for. Z ultra in India. Sony has released z ultra in august in Indian market. They should be releasing kit kat first to Indian region :-(

Have a problem with Front camera after update to android 4.4.2 kit kat... The problem is my camera not 2.0 mp again it be 1.8 mp now...I demanded an explanation from all xperia z ultra users...

i bought this phone about 3months ago, and its awesome. i moved all my media files to external micro SD 64gb without feeling of degrading speed. recently i made android upgrade to Kitkat, and 3rd party apps wont able to write to my microSD. i advise to read about Kitkat security updates before doing upgrade, so won't get 'ouch'.

I just bought this phone.....this phone is awesome....I have nothing to complain....big screen real entertainment.... Extreme gaming performance....but camera is ok type..but that is not big deal for me...I really love this phone...

I would like to give our experience so far with Z Ultra.
Screen is bright (Yes the surface is shiny like all mobile phones and also Apple iPads. We have ordered anti glare screen protectors. I used one on Blackberry Z10 which stopped the reflection issue and also stopped finger print build up). The ringtone volume yes could be louder but when we are out and about we use the FREE Stereo Bluetooth that came with our Ultras. We already have purchased protective leather cases and so do not suffer from scratched screens being protected and with screen protector will be further protected. Battery on Android 4.3 is Excellent and can last up to 4 days in stamina mode. Camera is excellent in daylight and if you have sufficient artificial lighting such as Halogen lighting takes good indoor photos.
Music player is also good.
So far I have nothing to complain about.
Many people will find the screen size to be a problem in which case I would suggest Z1 or Z1 Compact.

Most of d users r saying try pc companion bt wen i attactch my phablet with pc it doesnt show any software update...it says ur phab has the latest update...eagerly waiting for kitkat...

Hello frens....m using xperia z ultra frm past 6 months...its d best phone i find ever..the volume in earpiece is lil low bt not toouch
.if u keep d phablet properly near ur ear it wont affect as far as i know...mostly user find d volume of earpiece low bcause they myt nt hold it properly..
