4.3 is now available in the Philippines. You need to connect the device to your PC because it can't be done through wifi oar data.

Today I received my USB OTG cable and connected my USB flash drive which is 16GB NTFS. Xperia said it is empty and asked to format it. Well it isn't empty. After the mediocre camera the lack of NTFS support is another big disappointment. I have ASUS TF300 tablet and it handles NTFS perfectly (cannot power USB HDD but that was expected).

still waitin here philippines
for the second 4.3 update
my NFC is not working anymore, but other than that everything still great, wifi gets more signal, video playback goes up to 10 hrs w/ 50% brigtness

i bought this phone 3 mths ago...for the last two weeks my phone cannot connect to wi fi at home, at some other place its ok, i womder why......

Been using it for almost a month now, everything works good even the camera, all of you complaining about it, just having 8MP and no flash, do not use super auto, its crap. Put it on manual, set the iso, mine i set it to 400, use touch focus, image stabilizer off, and 8mp resolution, check the result :)

Everything was going fine till yesterday when the screen turned black suddenly and the phone does not respond Any more. I tried it today and it works fine again. I called sony and they said you need to update the software. I am not sure wheather this will solve the problem or no.

1 Month with XZU.
This phone blows everything else away.
Coming from a Note 2, where I had a Note 3 as a loaner for a couple weeks inbetween.
Best phone in so many ways, but the camera, this is beyond a joke. I had some weird idea that 8MP would still be close to or as good as the 8MP in my Note 2.. Nope, not close. Not comparable.. Maybe comparable to the front facing camera on the Note 2. No joke, the camera is hideous! The rest is amazing!

When I make a call on my new Sony Z Ultra, screen gets blank and even if the power button is pressed it remains blank.Very difficult to give missed call or to call a call centre where one needs to input the option numbers.
Can any one answer is it the problem of phone or it is due to android?
My phone is on 4.3

Byakuran, 31 Dec 2013After updating to Android 4.3 Jellybean via PC Companion I ... moreI upgraded my Xperia Z Ultra to Android Jelly Bean 4.3 and the now the music playback via bluetooth jitters, sometimes so severe that I have to turn off and then back on Bluetooth to stop it.
Turning off WiFi seemed to have solved the problem, which did not happen with Jelly Bean 4.22.
Anyone has any ideas on this Bluetooth issue?

Mine works fine, I've been using it for almost 1 week and I found no prob at all :) Love the xLOUD & Bravia Engine. It makes both audio & video quality works really really good! I hope in the future SONY will release more upgrade that can improve this phone performance. Stay classy, Xperia!

Hey Guys, got mine yesterday..must say I'm turning to Android after being Windows Phone user for 2 years..reason of switchg becoz my LG E900 not functioning well anymore (wear and tear)..I must say, Z Ultra Is a STUNNING device..email integration, messaging experience, apps Availability, and UI interface etc beyond my expectations (anything u can expect from Android 4.3..
Now the downside..for those who Cares and I believe worth mentioning..the camera of 8mp is very decent ( disappointment at some point) and the front camera as well.. I know that this has been mentioned many times, but I do believe Having a flash is a must..and MOST importantly call QUALITY is terrible even at loudest call volume..
Enough Said, maybe it's a devilish plan (strategy to some 'people'), it's a WAY in pushing their accessories invent alongside to compliment Xperia lines up..I found myself having to pay extra dollars for sbh52 Bluetooth and Qx10 lense (tat means more extra 'thing' to be carrying around)
LUCKY me, I'm not a very big fan of photography, having to be well known for their Supreme QUALITY and awesome Brand makes me go for SONY, and obviously their awesome Big screen..Video Streaming, Games, and UI Pop! I think tats all I have to say..cheers Folks!
