Nice phone. Smooth, no lag but sometimes it force shutdown (happened to me twice for a month now) display is the best out there. Camera? good for me (i don't use it that much). Looks? great very slim. Top and bottom bezels help your thumb during landscape gaming or watching. Battery is.... Mmmmm??? Well not that good.

I have come to hear that the water resistant function is not really working and similarly some more apps are not working properly and proper help is not being provided by the care centres. Is it true?

Sahid, 22 Sep 2013So how many hours u can get from ultra after firmware updat... moreFor the record, I always keep stamina mode on, with only about 2-3 apps being enabled during sleep mode. What I have noticed however is that when playing games, which used to consume the most battery juice, the percentage drop is much slower now than before. Playing for an hour straight consumes about 6-8% now wherein before, it consumed about 12-14%. This could vary depending on what game you are playing. The one thing that I have not tried extensively yet is web browsing, since I prefer to do that on full sized tablets. But I plan to try it out soon. Hope its not as bad as GSM arena’s tests results.

Just hold this phone today at display room and just quick compare the screen with other phone..The screen is very beautiful better than xperia z and xperia zr...Xperia z ultra is very slim and stylish...I play some HD video on it and whoa its so beautiful. ...I wonder what is the xperia z ultra performance...

Update: after two firmware update, my battery life seems to have gotten even better. But I am still having problems with my walkman app settings. Aside from the lag when adjusting the EQ, I can’t even access the settings under sound enhancement as the app keeps crashing when I do that.

u obviously dont own a sony xperia z ultra i have one and coming from an s4 i find the colors of the ultra more realistic as the super saturated colors on the s4..and i just had a phone call earlier u might have got a faulty item but that doesnt mean every z ultra is affected..the reviews all over point out that this was so far one of the best displays ever..please do not post fake comments here.the z ultra is so worth it and i will buy another one for my mom.

yesterday used from showroom, it lags somewhwere..
and one thing - from the xperia u the primary interface didint changed... the widgets are same.... shame on u SONY...

I bought ZU yesterday, and after One day of using the "phone", I have some bad points to tell: First, Battery life even with "Stamina Mode" drained after 7 to 8 hours of moderate usage; Mostly Browsing , Second bad point is , It is Not a Phone to make regular daily calls ... Third bad point , Screen has not good contrast, and colors are not saturated, comparing to Samsung GS4 .. I don't care of lacking of the flash and the normal 8 mb Camera , cos I will use it as a "Tablet", "Not a Phone", similar to my previous Galaxy 7.7 ... I definitely will buy "Note 3" for a normal daily usage "Phone" ..!!!

I think Sony is going to release it's own version of "air view" by Samsung, cause I noticed that sometimes even I didnt yet click(just almost there, my finger is about 1/4 inch from the screen) it responded instantly from where my finger is pointed. Just my observation based of my xperience on xperia z ultra a month and half ago.....

hey guys, i got this phone 2 days ago and i have this noise problem with it! i mean when i put it near my ear there is this little noise in the speaker all the time,anyone have the same problem?
