Been using the phone for 1 week,
The battery management software is very impressive but heavy use will drain it very fast.
The picture taken in camera is good though, but not as good as other flagship phones like GS4.
The display is what makes this phone shine compared to other phone, its massive size and not over-saturated colors make it pleasant to the eyes when your using it compared to GS4.
the screen is very sensitive especially when you let running water flow thru the screen, the touch sensor goes wild, sometimes when you dip the phone in water it clogs the headphone port and speaker and you have to clean it to hear the sound clearly.
the processor is also impressive, haven't encountered any form of lag, but the phone tend to heat up when its playing 1080p video, but still doesn't lag.
Overall, its a nice phone, and the size is just right for me, thou not advisable to those who like to take a lot of picture since the camera is not as good as GS4, etc. but for multimedia use, its one of the best in the market.

U complain about blank screen, one might assume u own the phone, but ur complaint about lack of flash tells ur level of reasoning. y complain of lack of flash after already buying and using. If u new it had no flash, from d box or store, y still pick it up and complain later. If u want to lie about devices, pls try show some intelligence.

you better watch out those who complain about sony devices... before you complain, do you really owned a xperia z ultra?? if not.. such a pathetic to read the complain... did the other mobile company paid for you just to confuse the people whom dreaming a sony devices... to think of that.. im not really affected about the forum..still i believe in sony...there is no such a perfect phone in mobile company..if they made it perfect..that is the time to end the smartphone...no more competence with the other devices.... think first all that damn other mobile fanboy....

LTE version is still not released.. Wait for mid September.. I'll get that one also.. I'm a Globe Subscriber from the Philippines and I'm confident it would work on our network..
If you use Globe also, grab the C6833 as it is the one supporting 1800 mhz.

Hey GSM arena, it's time for u, to come with ur review on this phone. As so many positives and negatives are roaming around xperia z ultra, u need to come with ur review to break all these things. As we trust u a lot.

hi guys. i bought my z ultra a few days ago. my problem is when i switched off the phone and charged it, it looked ok. but after one hour or more when i turn it on, the battery percentage was not increased. but its ok if i just let it on while charging. could anyone help me please....
