Mms, 22 Aug 2013Hi, would you happen to know if its possible to access a ta... moreSony Xperia Z ultra don't have a task manager the way Samsung has but u Can still kill apps by long pressing the menu key and swipe left or right the running app you want to stop. And you can stop music from playing on the notification bar by swiping down the notification bar then press stop on the widget of Walkman. Clicking back keys while the music is playing stop it however it only make your sound playing on the background. You have to click Stop button on the Walkman Player before clicking back key. I hope it would help you

hi,
me new to this forum.help me out in this problem.
i had note2. was happy about the perfomance.now want to buy a new one. accepting the fact that my options have different os, i have short listed s4, xperiaz, zultra lumia920 and i phone 5 64gb. some one pls help. battery also is important for me.

Before you comment be sure that you had bought one or even just experience it even for a several days.

rdj216, 20 Aug 2013the dark spots of an image/video from my Z Ultra are darker... morethats because sony uses warm picture settings on its phones , if you have used a bravia tv you will understand , it has options for warm , neutral and cool settings . when we use cool or warm settings picture does not appear natural , but warm setting is good for your eyes and cool setting very bad . samsung on the other hand uses neutral settings . it would be nice if sony gives option on there phones to choose picture setting just like bravia tv.
screen looks dull on warm settings . I hope you got what I said

Well after 14.1.B.0.475 update.
*SOD problems are now fully solve (Sleep of Death)
*noticeably better battery life
*Sensitivity of screen is much smoother
*more video formats has been supported

I don't have one yet but I'm planning on buying one shortly because its the best in the class if a practically portable tablet with full phone functions. This makes it a must buy for someone seeking a replacement for a smartphone and a tablet. Plus its waterproof. You can actually rinse dirt off it. I know I need it
