Everyone the z is only water proof in clean water it's says on the box (my sister has this I have the sp) and can not be used in the sea and if gets dust and water, the phone is ruined

The world has been crying out for this waterproofing solution, it just makes sense. In one of your previous statements you say that a person has to be careless to get an accidental splash, if it's accidental it can't really be careless. Splashes happen alot, I'm not sure which country you live in, but I live in the country where it rains for most of the year - England. Maybe in a vastly hot country, where it rarely rains you will not need it, but for the UK and Europe this is what we have all been waiting for. Lots of people would like the option of washing their phone at time to time and yes you would be surprised how many people and especially couples love to video themselves in the shower and then upload them onto certain websites for all to see.

Hahaha, can't hardly wait to get out of the rain before using the phone. I think to first thing to do when it rains is to get to a safe dry place rather than thinking of calling someone under the rain.
Washing the phone? Why not try washing your netbook and DSLR camera as well to keep them clean.
Taking photos and videos during shower? What, are we making shower video scandal? LOL!

Anyone heard of RAIN, can't believe some of the comments with regards to waterproofing. I use both my phones in the outdoors, and sometimes I have no choice but to use it in the rain, which is why the screens aren't what they should be anymore, hence the need for waterproofing. It seems to me that people either use their phone only at home and at work or not at all, I'm quite surprised. I also like to keep my phone clean, hence I would like the option to wash it now and again, and this will enable me to do so. Many people wish to take pictures and videos of themselves in the shower, this will enable them to do so. I tried it with both my phones and screens are partly ruined.

I reckon the water proof is just the way sony design their phone lately. You know, its just the template that they already good at, so might as well implement it on most of their phone.

It will only makes the phone expensive.
Lets face it, most of us here would not use a phone when going for a swim or taking a bath.
Yeah accidental water splash do happen, but I think it will happen only if the owner is careless.

Lets face it, most of us here would rather see what our phone can do shooting low light now arent we? flash got nothing.

This phone should have 13.1 Megapixel camera with flash.... It will enhance its features and will make it dominant then others....

If this phone priced above 25k, too expensive to have this kind of gadget. id rather buy a midrange phone that have a flash than to buy this one. this phone has a water proof capability which makes more expensive.
