It's quite unbelievable what this s800 chip inside the sony z ultra can do. Sony haven't included all the features, as you would expect, it would become too expensive. That's why they're keeping some of the specs back for the rumoured Honami device, but just imagine a phone that can take pictures upto 55mp, 4k x 2k video recording and playback, ultra hd display resolution (2560 x 2048), microusb v3.0, 4k external display, is it any wonder nvidia have lost the mobile battle and Samsung have no chance with their laughable exynos octa core line up.

Don’t you mean that Nokia and Motorola are using Amoled screens because they know Amoled is the BEST….. Sony has no money to buy Amoled from Samsung. … In fact 30% of Sony mobile phones are made with Samsung parts.
LCD screens are Obsolute and more battery hungry.
Please do some research and listen to the real experts about screen quality.
Sony TV’s are the worst. In fact Sony begged Samsung for technology assistance with TV’s. Sony TV’s have struggled for nearly a decade.
You Sony fanboys always lie and twist the truth to fulfill your Sony fantasys.
Sony has made continual losses for 4 consecutive years. This year Sony sold many of its assets to survive and hide its massive losses. Yes, Sony was a great company in 70’s, 80’s and 90’s when there was little competition, but Sony’s glory days are finished and many professionals are predicting that Sony will go Bankrupt.

These samsung supporters don't learn do they, the S4 is no match for this beast and they may as well not bother with the note 3, no different to the s4 except in size. People who moan about the camera on the Z Ultra don't seem to realise that 8mp is more than sufficient for any phone, and Sony doesn't need to include flash as they have the Exmor RS for low light conditions.

Will be pointless making every phone with everything everytime

I have a Sony Xperia Ion which works great. The Z Ultra has a bigger screen 6.4 compared to 4.6 and a faster processor with a Quad-core 2.2 GHz Krait 400 compared to Dual-core 1.5 GHz Adreno 220. The only question I have is why the shittier camera 8 MP, 3264 x 2448 pixels, autofocus compared to 12 MP, 4000x3000 pixels, autofocus, LED flash ???
