I was given this phone so I expected little. Owner said it was too big. Can't praise it enough now. Brilliant phone in every way, including a very good camera. It's bulky, but when you use it you know it was worth it. It is a scratch magnet so a flip cover is a must, particularly for the camera lens.

No... moreFlash is not a big problem the problem is its camera quality. very poor camera in z ultra.
It's touch works automatically
When insert headsets the music volume automatically increased
Now after 3 months my z ultra not works very well.
Camera is not working properly
Video player not working
Other apps are not running well
Cant play games.....

my touch screen is oversensitive.. even sweat of finger makes noisy touches on screen...is it normal, or this is only my problem??..is there any way to control its sensitivity

keep your mobile horizontally facing the screen towards you such that the switch are directed towards down,, then apply a pressure to the lower end of mobile by two palms..(normally as we keep it)... then check vibration,it is not working..... if anyone having same problem then plz reply

After 5.1.1 update, now you resize your screen icons. It can done from the customization option on main menu. Battery life is good like before in jellybean. Performance is optimised a little bit. Only thing I noticed is that after upgrade my camera service stopped working. Not immediately but after one day. It said 'camera service is unavailable '. This occurs for the first time in 20 months I got my phone. So I simply switched off phone, turned on phone after 5 minutes and camera started working again. So if such things happens to you just follow the above steps or try reseting phone from reset button which is available next to sim sd card slot, it will not wipe your data. P.S. Restarting phone doesn't work, I had tried that already. You need to switch off the phone for some time.

Now come to the review
Sony xperia z ultra is a device which should not be compared from the other phones in this price range
It is super fast and after the 5.1 lollipop update it has become the fastest
Lookwise it is an excellent phone. Others will surely ask that "bhai ye sony ka Kaun sa phone(model) hai"
When it comes to camera I can only say that the camera is okk but great if u would compare the 8MP cameras of
phones.Yes it has a major drawback of flash but in reality out of 10 times we only use flash 2-3 times so it doest matters me a lot.
It's performance is superb and it's screen size is best for surfing net watching movies etc...
And sony service is great,I was not able to hear the voice of other side clearly(blur voice is coming) I gave it to the nearest service center and they have replaced it with a new phone...
Now come to the battery of the phone, I had come to many negative review about z ultra I want to ask them all what they all do with their phone. On an average after 100 percent charge u could use this beast a full day with average usage of whatsapp Facebook calls music etc etc.And if u are a heavy gamer as I am then u would get upto 3-4 hours of continuous gameplay which is a Great thing about a phone with such a big screen size and with Great hardwares inside it....

I would only like to say that if u want a great phone which Can give u an amazing experience then u should buy this beast without any hesitation

After updating to 5.1.1 my Z Ultra is even more faster and more RAM available. But the funny thing after the upgrade is that the Dialpad is now too small and too compressed while there's a big or wide space to make the Dialpad really big. SONY's software enginer did not see this lousy dialpad. SONY release an update to make the dialpad really big like hell because the space is so wide.

Battery life seems to be even better than in 5.0.2
I always use Stamina mode. and recommend that.
