Within 2 weeks of purchase, I found the phone cracked in my pocket for NO DAMN REASON WHATSOEVER... Never go for any sony xperia z products... Build quality that were good once, sucks to the core these days... So Disgusting...

Guys I have been using this phone from last one and half years really good phone. Didn't face any problem till now. Only lags sometimes when the weather is too hot like today. But its quite minor actually. You wouldn't even notice it if u r not paying too much attention. I wanted ask about lollipop update. Should I install it or not? Please help. Thank you.
P.S. Please don't pay attention on those posts which says that any other flagship phone is better than this phone. Please consider its price and specs first and then decide yourself.
It's far better than Galaxy note.

The star shows sound off but priority calls accepted press volume down and menu drops showing silent..priority.. Sound remove priority and star will dissappear

Is anyone is having problem with display on z ultra my z ultra display fades and phone hangs for like 5 seconds is anyone is having same problem plz reply and if anyone knows something about it amd plz tell me how to fix it

But iam confused ... moreExcept camera without flash and big size can't keep it like normal mobile-this two things only the problem in sony z ultra ,apart from this sony z ultra is very much better and very powerful performance compare to note 3 neo .
So, this is your choice.

I Put my xperia z ultra when took it out the desplay is cracked aftre i round and round with service centres but no use bec's its imported.. Whaaaa what a sony
Guyz do not buy this phablet its wate ur money and ur happyness too

You want a faster processor or mid range type processor? You want confirmed lollipop or doubtful? Note 3 neo may not satisfy what you're thinking coz its not a tablet...

I bought the Z ultra after a lot of consideration of specs. For the price this is a good value phone and has all the features I need: 6.5mm ultra slim; 2.2 GHz snapdragon 800 processor, 6.4 inch screen with 1980 res, 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage. It works fine and suits me perfectly because I use it for surfing the web and for reading ebooks. The Note 3 and other similar 6 inch phones with same specs are way too expensive. Front and rear glass cover gives the phone a super smart look. Ah... if only the sides were pure metal... but then one cannot have everything.

Difference in quality as I Have purchased 3 times earlier. Now I am using genuine not have any problem last 6 months though it suffers from drop/accident got lucky never damage the screens.

No there is no self cracking issue, unless you'd be that careless user put in your back pocket and sit on the phone, or throw around the phone surely it will break. Handle it with care. proud Z ultra owner here.

szymon , 14 May 2015the screen is cracked because heavy use of the phone / play... moreThat's not true whatsoever, not sure where you've got that fictitious story from, it is just bad luck when the screen cracks, I use my Z Ultra all day long, around 18 hours a day and nothing has ever happened, also the one plus one is nothing compared to this device, the Z Ultra is still simply the best device on earth!

this is a very nice phone. the thinnest among all the newer phone. therefore it can crack easily.
i have a initial release set, sent back to the service ctr thrice. 1st software problem leads to hang.
2nd, it fail to charge.
3rd the waterproofing cover loose.
this phone have a very sensitive screen. therefore be prepared that even dust can cause it to respond.
this phone is still so good for many things that i am not willing to let go even if there are better phone out there.

Don_Akra, 10 May 2015i love the phone. been using it for 4 months. dont care abo... morethe screen is cracked because heavy use of the phone / playing heavy games for long time i suggest you to not buy this phone at all go for one plus one its just amazing imo.
