The kitkat powered Z ultra stored applications on the SD card. It did it automatically and didn't have a specific U.I. Now it has... That's the only difference with the "app to sd" function. I know this because I once deleted game files off sd card by accident whilst my Z ultra was running 4.4.4 kitkat.

Installed lollipop and so far so good. Check your power settings the update reset stamina mode... Just thinking for all those bemoaning battery life issues!.

Apps can now be moved to.The SD card but not the data, not sure if that can be moved but for apps just go.to settings then click on apps, and then click on the box next to the app you want to move and it will be moved to the SD card, great news!

I'm going to update mine using my Pic and not using my phone as I know from past experience it won't work properly. If any of you have had a bad update then do it again using Sony's PC Companion software on your PC or Laptop.

Lollipop update just appeared on my screen, 645MB is quite alot for the update and I would need 1.2GB of internal memory to download it. I'm quite excited especially with Apps to SD Card, that's what I'm really looking forward to. However I shall take my time and see how other people with the Z Ultra are faring with the update before I update mine.

Im user of sony Xperia z ultra claim about the New ota update lollipop version, i think battrey usage versi fast drain and the camera function is little lag, But otherwise is very nice ui, please upgrade and solve the problem

i have bought this cellphone 3 weeks ago. and it was gifted by my father. now at all its working very fine. the phone has great configuration with 2 gb RAM. camera quality is not good as others but good.
looking wise its very good and its ultra slimness gives a superb look.
overall there is nothing to lose to buy this phone.

app to sd feature is not working in lollipop..I tried moving asphalt 8 and some apps to sd but it's not actually moving.the size of memory card remains same before and after moving...and after moving the size of app files shows in bytes in memory card...is anybody experienced same issue in Xperia z ultra C6802??

Hi All,
I have just updated my Z Ultra to Lollipop through OTA.
It just worked fine. No major issues. Camera start up is not as faster as earlier versions, a very little lag occurring during multitasking. Otherwise it is just fine.

AnonD-387752, 18 Apr 2015I bought it 2 weeks ago & was using it without any game... moreI get the same problem, but mine was more due to the internal memory full and so some of the functions weren't working properly, but your problem is strange as you've only had the phone for a short while and you have lots of memory, I don't think it's a virus, I think you need to re install the operating system by going on your PC/Laptop and using the PC Companion software and then hopefully it should be fine.
