Does everything still work with this phone? Can you update and use all day-to-day apps? You can still get these new of ebay for about 200 bucks, which seems like a good deal to me.

2017 and I still have this phone. Awesome! Now is falling a little behind with the camera technology and fingerprints sensors but it still work like in the first day even tho I used it to the maximum.

Had this for 3 years now, just fantastic, never had a problem with it, so fast as well, there is no need to upgrade to anything for at least another couple of years and maybe even longer. The s800 chip is outstanding, the course is so quick and the adreno 330 gpu just plays anything without a hitch even Nova 3. Well done Sony on a fantastic product, probably still the best device out there.

I've been using this art piece for 4 years, but recently I've been facing a serious problem:
my screen goes white in cold weather or shows white bars on the screen, and first I have to warm up the screen to eliminate them. Does anybody has been experiencing such this problem?

Had this nearly 4 years from launch , changed the battery last year (good teardown vid on youtube so not too difficult)
Made my amazon kindle and 7 inch tablet redundant .
Not very pocket friendly , just have to buy jackets with large inside pockets or not wear tight jeans.:).
Been looking for a replacement but the only thing out there that looks better is the Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra.

Had this phone since it was introduced. I don't use a case, phone slips in easily into the side pockets of my jeans. Micro-usb cover broke off awhile ago, phone would restart abruptly on occasion (quite rarely though) , battery life has noticeably diminished, audio jack is starting to lose connection, but given all that I have to say it's the best phone I've ever used and intend to use it until its totally dead and non-functional.

the best phone i ever had ... thin, light and the 6.4 screen is ideal, but my dog chewed on it and destroyed it. I recently bought a 6" xiaomi mi mix ($1,100 for the 256gb version) and i really do not like this phone. its like a brick and crashes all the time ....total waste of $1,100.
I miss my z ultra.
does anyone know if Sony is coming out with another 6.4" Z ultra?

I just ran Antutu Benchmark on my Z Ultra which I bought 24/3/2014. It runs Resurrection_Remix_LP_v5.4.2 with kernel 3.4.0_SlimLP_1.4. My score:
58117 (3D:9080, UX:19666,CPU:21896,RAM:7475)

I am using Xperia Z Ultra C6833 at least one year and Its performance is too good and battery backup not good but in 4G 📶 every battery drains fast and I wish Sony Company Should launch its new version with 20.7MP and 8 or 13 front camera and Display size 6.5,Fingerprint sensor,Heart Beat sensor,Wireless Charging not magnetic and all over this phone is very good I don't want to sell this phone b'coz there is no phone like this So thanks to sony for launching this oKkk..
