I did a Factory reset after the update but it doesn't solves the battery issue. Don't know why.. Hoping for the next update..

i would like to persuade bloggers to stop giving opinions as if you really owned a unit. you can ask but not pretending that you know everything. there are alot of bloggers just to destroy the quality of sony. for prospective buyers of zl, go ahead. this unit is better than other flagship units available. the only downside of the unit is the cover flap of sim and micro sd. battery is not an issue. its just the same with other smartphones. afer my innovate(samsung) omnia 2(samsung),galaxy s(samsung) i tried sony xperia s.then i realized the diff. of samsung and sony. i did not sell my xperia s after i bought my zl unlike my samsung units which i found them useless after acquiring a new unit. believe me..sony units are made to last. tnx for reading and hope this clears the issue about zl. BUY sony

After updating 4.2.2 of Jelly bean, users who faces troubles to use smoothly and problems of some apps, bugs. That is why Sony releases an update 10.3.1.A.0.244 which is workable and solves problems. It is smooth to use.

amirul, 18 Sep 2013hi there, for me, it does solved the issue...before this(af... morestill using same apps after "factory reset"? my apps list that always on: whatsapp, yahoo mail, gmail, facebook, twitter, chrome and wifi always on + auto sync. the battery only last for 5-6 hours (after update 4.2.2). I was expect the battery life similar to Gsmarena has tested, but it never happen..

AnonD-170259, 18 Sep 2013Does factory reset after update solves battery issue of ZL? hi there, for me, it does solved the issue...before this(after update 4.2), the battery drop around 10% over the night(with saving mode on)...now after I do the factory reset, it just drop 2%-3% at most over the night...it doesn't hurt to give it a try... (@@,)
not forgotten that my wi-fi is always on...

Tips to have a longer battery life for your Sony Xperia ZL, just go to Power Management, ON the Stamina Mode, then go to Display lower your Brightness stat more than a half, and lastly uncheck the Mobile Bravia Engine 2 , specially when you're using internet thru wifi connection or internet sim (Data Sim Card). Because the Higher Display Capacity of Sony Mobile Bravia Engine take a lot of battery consumption. It will be helpfull just try my advice. Thanks...

Even at ... moreThe Loud Speaker of Sony was not the same of other SmartPhones, it will give more efficient and clarity by plugging into jack with speaker or phone headset, for me the Sony Walkman is the best app for listening music....
