ZR - waterproof, ZL not, I own the phone, does not freeze or lock up, with the power management mode (stamina) I get 3 days with out recharge (normal use, ie a few calls and +- 20-30 texts) hope this helps

Dear Xperia ZL users an update 10.3.1.A.0.244 of Jelly bean 4.2.2 is available. It is smoother than before. Your complains about bugs are solved here. I have posted before what is new in this update, if necessary check my previous post as on 2013-08-03 22:05

That is why Apple does not feel to upgrade their hardware where sony, htc , samsung even symphony are busy to upgrade their hardware for their every upcoming new smartphones. coz in Android there are malty options and so many high end tasks that some people do not know the use. They blames Android system. For their kind information 70% users use Android system. If someone know the batter use of Android he must say Android is the best.

Android is complete freedom, user can do what they want. Some people still don't know how to use thier android device.

With the latest update some progs drained drasticaly my battery, after many researches i found the problem, u must go to apps and uninstall latest update for google maps. Also untick the access to your location. This two options wake up the phone when is in sleep mode. For example before this the battery was drained in approx 1 day but now is lasting 4 days for normal use ( calls and some messages). I hope this is useful for some of you

lets see, when we use the compare tool here:
xperia ZL, has better resolution
xperia ZL, supports micro SD up to 64GB
xperia ZL, 13 megapixel camera
xperia ZL, secondary camera capable of 1080p video recording...
on my personal opinion (which by the way is the first thing you should have typed in your comment), the micro SD card support is enough to pick the ZL over the iphone.
now unto your comment itself, by reading the comment you were answering to, the person clearly states samsung mega or xperia, there is nowhere to see the mention of any apple device, which in turns points at you as an applefanboy/troll, please kindly leave this section and go back to apple.
now if you do have an xperia ZL, which by your comment is highly doubtful, you should send it to repair, since it should not be getting warm just by making calls, or browsing, so please do take it to a sony center; if it is draining the battery very quick, please check on the stamina mode screen to see what exactly is draining your battery and kill that app, recheck during a day or a week, if the same app keeps on top uninstall and if you need it, reinstall if you can configure it, set it so it doesn't auto load.
again, as you do seem to be a troll, please refrain to post anymore. and to everyone out there i beg your pardon for even taking time to feed this person, if is a troll that is, we sony users tend to be very polite as far as we can.
