Zl users tell me the batery life is good or poo... moreXperia ZL has 2370 mAh battery and it is strong that can store the chare for long time. If u browse and play games continuously it lasts for upto 5 hours and I think it is sufficiant. Maximum prople do not use phone like this. 1/2 hours partial use give u more battery life. Also u have to know the better use of battery energy by using STAMINA and and other useful options.
And every smart phone have the heating prob but ZL does not have the irritating heating.

I've had the ZL for about a month and I experienced the low call volume. It is so frustrating that the phone does everything you need it to except work like a phone. I have to press the earpiece hard to my ear to hear properly. Sometimes I place it in speaker mode and turn the phone around and hold it up to my head. The speaker phone by itself is one of the worst I've experienced. Don't even try to use it in the car, you'll drive yourself nuts.

AnonD-2438, 07 Jul 2013guys.. i hope many of u will be facing the low volume while... moreno dude i dont have such issue my incall volume is pretty loud and i can easily hear in noisy environments..when i keep volume in full its so loud..try switching off clear phase and using slow talk or equalizer in call options.

How many the batery will long least in on full charge.
Bcoz i want 2 buy this phone.
Then any problem on this phone such as heating ,lag when scrol up contacts?

And it is annoying that every time it needs to increase the volume. The update of Jelly bean 4.2.2 has the same problem and more over in jelly bean 4.2.2 the VIDEOmall for small apps is stopped running, software error of jelly bean 4.2.2, before update I could run it in jelly bean 4.1.2, I the Sony released this version without factory checking. Hope Sony will repair this problems soon in next update.

The same happen each time i call. It is very anoying. Each time you have to turn up the volume when calling. I am very disapointed regarding this phone.

guys.. i hope many of u will be facing the low volume while on call..ie very less volume of earphone speaker..very annoying when in traffic/noisy environment.
but when u run the diagnostics using the code,*#*#7378423#*#*
go to earphone and hear the sound. its so loud.
but when u make calls, its so low on volume.
i have seen many threads in sony blogs and many communities regarding this issue.
There no update even in latest version of jelly bean..
any solution for this?

Plz dont compare ZL with LG op. There is a far difference. 1. Scratch resistance glass is too hard that's why it breaks easily when the display direct drop on floor, such as xperia Z/zL samsung galaxy s3/s4 and more like that. 2.At the moment all users have jelly bean 4.2.2 update and it works nice and smooth. But a little bug that VIDEOmall for small apps does not works. But it is not very important and in next update it will be solved. 3. When playing a video the soft key becomes hidden 4. I donot use mirroring option but hopeful about that u can do everything. 5. Battery life is good but u have to know the better use of battery using STAMINA mode and other option. A 5" full HD sharp 441ppi display + Quad core processor needs more power that usually battery life drains quickly but I dont have the bad experiance of ZL's battery life. It is just like samsung Galaxy quad core series. tnx

Based on my own experience the battery of this phone not really good. Too fast drain and also quit heating on the back, not sure what compenent that heating does it the battery or the CPU chip. My note2 has the best battery.

will after conidering going for zl or optimus g i going for zl but want to confirem few things from users who have it now
zl
1 does front glass has some protection cos z front glass breaks very easily when dropped
2 in new update 4.2.2 does the soft key get hidden for full screen gaming like in movies play back
3 the mirroring feature there are videos on you tube showing movie play back to led tv but is same for gaming
or there is lag so the not posting vedios demontrating it cos lg optimus g mirroing to tv gameplay works superb
3 battry life compared to lg while gaming as lg diplay uses les battry compared to bravia
lg prices at around 27k on ebay wheres zl coming for 33k

AnonD-111105, 05 Jul 2013Hiiiii dear ZL users...i want to buy a new smartphone...ple... moreI tried both Samsung S4 9505 4G and Sony Xperia ZL. Sony phone is much responsive, I mean u will feel the power or processing ur touche. In the other hand Samsung phone is still lagging and twice in a week I needed to take out the battery after freezing. After I received an update from samsung, just the same without fteezing.
Samsung S4 gets hot to ears if u put Wifi or 4G on. Really intolerably hot. Earpeice might help but disappointed.
Note2 is a better choice if u r a Samsung fan.
One more thing is the poor battery backup of the S4. If u r connected to the net-without active surfing- ir willl last maximally 10 hours with regular average calls. Note that I disabled all fancy functions except the smart stay.
