It is to mantion here that if u are interested on camera , I suggest u to prefer xperia ZL which have EXMOR RS sensor for low light footage and world's first Exmor sensor with HDR technology which can shoot photo/video in extreme vivil light. Battery life is good in ZL and also it looks nice in design. Display 5" with full HD 1080x1920 pixel with 441 ppi pixel density give u a sharp display. Sony's mobile BRAVIA ENGINE 2 gives u a nice color and clear emage in photo & video.....on the other hand one thing I can say in Samsung s4 that it has a super AMOLED display with same ppi 441 full HD and battery life is same as Sony ZL. But camera is not batter than Xperia ZL. So now it is your decision to choose one from Zl & S4. But one thing to remember never forget to check your phone properly before buying it.

I thought of my Xperia ZL supports 4G LTE but it doesn't, cos model-C6502 doesn't have 4G LTE......!

Hi man..
From my side I advice you to bye the new experia Z or ZL in compares ion between S4 3G and S4 LTE for my openion that one is much better than samsung if you compare between the screen quality and display and camera options too..an don't forget the week body of samsung they are using the cheapest plastic coveres.

my comments about sony xperia mobiles,all mobiles very best looking functions applications but there is a big problem because many mobiles batteries are non removeable battery must be removeable.

Xperia Z or ZL is the best phone ever. It's camera is the best of all. Sony uses Exmor RS which can shoot picture/Video in low light. Also HDR technology gives the opportunity to shoot clear photo/video in vivid light. BRAVIA engine 2 gives you a nice color combination while plays video/still image. Tha 2370 mAh battery gives you long life for continuous browsing or chatting upto 4/5 hours and long life using battery saving options. Everyone should come to know that Android jelly bean 4.1.2 or 4.2.2 need single or not more than double core processor of 1.5 Ghz to run, but Xperia ZL/Z have the Quad (4) core processor of 1.5 Ghz and 1GB RAM is sufficiant for smooth browing and operating builtin necessary apps. where Xperia Z/ZL has the 2GB DDR2 RAM. 5" Crystal clear display 1080x1920 resulation with 441 ppi pixel density. So i will suggest you if you comparing it with other phones , the camera of the Z/ZL is best, battery life is accecptable (if u know the better use), smooth to use and nice design.

But it is to inform you that i have been using it for 2 months and there is no hang related problem faced for a single time for any page or app. yet after and before updating the latest version of Android OS. Xperia ZL is a very smooth phone with powerfull devices. After updating jelly bean 4.2.2 if u will face the same prob u should replace the phone from where u brought if u hv warrenty.

also if your S4 lags on contact list you should reinstall the android and re-sync, is a curious comment from an S4 user
i have all my contacts with pictures, and they all have a lot of information (many numbers, mails, notes, and such) i still have contacts from about 15 years ago (who i don't really talk to x.x, but have keep up to date with their contact information) so i have plenty of contacts
on other note i been having some issues with the MX player after the update, now i use the BSPlayer, and it has worked like a charm, it also has some nice features the MX player lacks, please consider having both.
about the mirroring screen, if you cant mirror and don't have the TV's remote control at hand, turn off the TV (maybe unplug it), then turn on and go to the menu, on the input section when you access "guide" select the screen mirror (you don't need to go to Bravia sync), then use the "screen mirror" widget on your phone and you should be ready to go.
before i could connect a stereo (Bluetooth) and the TV, after the update i no longer can do this the phone tells me it can hold the MHL connection, so keep in mind you will only be able to connect only one device.
the signal strength of the mirror also seems to be weak after update since the tv looses it at about 2 meters, before update the signal worked at about 4 meters.
on the angry birds issues, try updating the game, if not then reinstall and it should work, angry birds space and star wars stopped working, they re-updated and now work as usual.
and again, battery life improved after update, also noticed it remains cooler (could be because of a silicone pouch i got for it tho)

brye, 02 Jul 2013Hi, I'm from the Philippines i would like to ask if LTE wil... morehi, yes Smart and ng globe offers LTE(unfortunately, only on major cities/areas so far) but you need an LTE-capable sim to be able to enjoy LTE speed. if you do not have LTE-capable sim and you have a ZL LTE, you will be limited to 3.5G speeds.
2 xperia ZL versions are being sold locally(gray market, dont know with Sony Philippines). one gray market seller from sulit.com.ph sells C6503(LTE) and C5302(HSPA+) variants.

im from the Philippines and I bought a ZL c6503 lte model from xperia store. the salesperson asked me if my sim card was LTE but my sim card isnt unfortunately. So I think LTE will work as long as you have an LTE sim from one of our networks with LTE. and you should be in an area with LTE coverage.
By the way? Where did you find a ZL 3g only model? I was looking for that one but the sony salesperson said that it isnt available

I got this phone for 2 week.. and just updated to 4.2.2 from 4.1.2. based my own experience.. with the battery optimized/power saving the battery not so fast drop in standby time. Unlike the samsung note 2 s3. Drop 1 or 2% every 3 or 5hour. But Xpzl no drop within 5 to 7 hours. But zxl getting very hot when playing game like candy crush just in half hours. And also battery quicker run out when using app like reading friend status on facebook. Samsung note 2 good battery stamina.
