Just 2 days back, I have upgraded to ZL from ION, and enjoying ZL a lot, specially the same compact body as ION with bigger screen, camera is good, not feeling any lag, will post some more details after playing with it for more time...

1. Power button + volume down at same time.......and u will get screenshot.....
2. In small app there is clip manager.... U can take screen shot by clip manager

About removed screenshot button, now yo can use small apps to capture screenshot(the purple one) or use power+volume down(at same time)

overall software performance, zl already got 4.2.2 update but not yet with z, in the older .253 update is the same overall
In terms of audio with headset is the same result but zl speaker are louder than Z
Handling,zl fatter and shorter than z, i prefer zl than z though
Heating issues, z few degree hotter because of the water resistance trap the heat inside lol

Please I really need to know between the Zl and Z, overall performance which is better, put the water proving of the Z aside. What I need to know is in terms of audio (loud speaker also), display quality, battery performance, handling, overall software performance (taking about lags), heating issues. Pls do respond urgently. Thanks.

Day dreaming
Look of recent application changed..... Now bigger thumbnails
Developer option is hidden.... Continuously tapping on built version under setting will make it appear
Look screen, notification bar, menu bar changed..
New application Sony antitheft is there under xperia of setting... No need for installing 3rd party antitheft apps...
Many more...........
It is best update by sony.... :-)

* EX FAT SUPPORT! HELL YEAH!
* bug? in car mode, if car mode active and back to home screen via hom button, home screen can rotate horizontaly(won't work without car mode)...i call it FEATURES! LOL
* new option preview in kamera

There is no photosphere, no tile notification.
Only thing added was the daydream feature and the ability to add widgets to lockscreen.
What the Hell sony. I'm disappointed

I AM from India and today I updated my zl to 4.2 jb...
It is very good update.... Some cool features are-
1. Lock screen changed
2. Now more smooth
3. Battery backup is improved
4. Add more option in quick settings..
5. Transparent menu bar and notification bar
6. Don't know whether camera is improved r not
I love my zl and Sony for releasing 4.2 updates...

I can understand your pain bro.. Like you, I am a die-hard fan of Sony as well.. I feel sorry for you that you are facing an issue with your Sony phone, but just like the other guy is suggesting, take it to a service centre and they'll replace your defective handset..
Don't feel bad man.. Almost all mobile phone manufacturers have some or the other issue in their phones.. None of them is perfect.. Or else they would have a monopoly over the market.. So take it easy bro and get your handset replaced.. :)

I took it to sony service center n they replaced with new handset in just a week.....love sony service....bro just take to service center.... hope ull get a new piece.....
