AnonD-112538, 26 May 2013Its abt 2 weeks since im using this phone nd the only thing... moremy battery goes from 100 to 90 % watching a 1080p, DTS movie for 16 minutes and 05 seconds, which means that it will drain to 0% in about 160 minutes and 50 seconds (about 2.66 hours), did this on the maximum brightness (adapt to lighting conditions OFF) and with the bravia engine ON, audio on the mx player up to 30+ which is the max audio level, it was connected to normal cellular network (no data);
From 89% to 79% on 19 minutes and 20 seconds using waze (data connection and GPS ON), same screen settings, which means it would go down to 0% from 100 in about 193 minutes and 20 seconds (about 3 hours 13 minutes and 20 seconds), on this particular scenario
i think is an average time, but not very good, i have no idea how GSM arena really does the battery test, but i always get lower times, however, if i leave my phones on standby the battery last longer than what they say, so i really don't know how their procedure really is.
also keep in mind that you usually leave the "adapt to lighting conditions" ON so the screen will go dark when is night or in dark environments and bright under the sun and this will improve your battery life.
on a side note, when one uses waze (gps, data and screen on) for more than 30 mins the phone will go hot, is not intolerable but is warm so i would advice you to take precaution on summer, the phone is good but do treat it with care, this doesn't happen when viewing HD videos, it takes longer to get warm.
FYI: i am the one with the LED issue, my notification LED wont turn green, not on the album, not while charging, nowhere, when someone calls me the LED lights blue, and on missing calls it Lights "purple", it does light red when the battery is low(less than 5%), but no green, i been thinking on taking it to repair or something, everything else on this phone actually works very well so i am confused, please reply if you think my battery is bad or whatever, it will be very welcome

It's a great phone though. I've used it almost 2 months with no problem at all ( no lag at all :3 ) . I'll recommend this phone over GS4/iP5 if you didn't have much money and you need Squeeze every bits of it's performance.The only difference between GS4 is it's processor.

i having hard time choosing xZL and note2. got opinions from friends and all of them suggested note2. however i choosed xZL eventually because of portability. IT just QUALITY enough. why sony never made good advertisement like sxxsxng. IT JUST QUALITY ENOUGH. it doesnt produce oversaturated colour like sxxsxng, however we cn always adjust the hue and saturation of screen. keyboard can b customised which i really happy with. has android beam. speaker not good enough though the earphone is really best. camera is more than good enough for a phone. however, it still the personal's choice to choose. mine is: JUST BUY THIS AND U WILL DEFINITELY NO REGRET :>

Swati, 26 May 2013plz sumone help me...have this phn since a mnth now but eve... moreSee some songs have embedded album art in them so they show their embedded album art in walkman app replacing the default album art nothing to worry about that. but if u want to remove them edit track info and delete tha album art and your default album art will be displayed...

I have this phone for almost a week now n i really really loving this phone ! Everything is perfect ! The battery is quiet good idk why others saying it have poor battery. Browsing, facebook n twitter, gaming, calls and texting, wifi on all day cz im using wechat most of the time and i only charge once a day. So satisfied with this phone! Worth the money !

Currently using Incredible S. A good handset, only one flaw. Actually It's common to many HTC handsets. It doesn't show outgoing call waiting notification. I mean when I call someone who (had already activated call waiting notification) is on an active call, the display doesn't show call waiting notification. Dudes, please notice I'm not talking about incoming call waiting notification.
I have googled and found that handsets from some other manufacturers e.g. Sony, Samsung etc show this notification. This notification is too important for me. I find it awkward to call someone repeatedly when he is already in an active call.
Does Xperia ZL approach in the same way? Hope to get a feedback from any user.

But let me know when xloud is off does the loudness is sufficient loud or inferior to s3 or xperia sl.
I choosed those 2 bcz they may have good sound quality and loud enough

plz sumone help me...have this phn since a mnth now but everytime i get a song via bluetooth...it automatically comes in my walkman app with a photograph in my album as song's cover pic....
not the dafault album cover..
dont noe why is this happening..plz sugeest sumthng..

ok i been with this phone about a week, and today something funny just happened, the led notification went weird, it didnt go green, not on the album, not on the charge till 100%, not on the walkman app, nowhere, i made a factory reset, and nothing, reinstalled stock software and nothing, searched the web, and found post about led issues with the Z, but their issue was that the led would not light at all and such, some ZL users even had this Z led light issue; but not mine, i left the phone charging and then... suddenly.. the green light appeared before me i have no idea what just happened to me, i have a 1 year warranty, so i wont take the phone to service just yet, since (this happening aside) its working like a charm, i even tested it on Bravia TVs and NFC devices, and i encourage everyone to try those functions. please if someone else had this issue, please-please-please post it, thank you

Its abt 2 weeks since im using this phone nd the only thing that sucks is dis phone is very poor battery life.. It drains so quickly u hav to find d charger aftr every 2 to 3 hours..very poor experience. Please take ur charger nywhere u go..
User interface is okok but not d best like what u hav got in samsung.. But it works.. No problm..

Anonymous, 23 May 2013mm i saw a post on XDA that the C6503 gives people faster c... morealready fix the issue on my ZL after re upgrading to 10.1.1.A.1.253, first I backup all internal storage content, then re update the firmware using Sony Update Service, then restore the backup using Sony PC Companion. Now I'm happy with my ZL performance, I was now able to connect to LTE signal, battery performance improved, camera performance improved, less heat while playing games (NFS, Ashphalt7, ModernCombat)

Well i had a hard time choosing between S4 and ZL.
I finally choose the ZL and i don't regret it a second ! I had my phone since 3 days now and it works perfectly.

... moremmm, this is a hard question, at first i was going to answer with your my opinion in a very subjective way, then 3 friends just showed up, we would just write what we thought of it on a paper and then we would all see, i know this doesn't make up a great test but is the best i can do.
Loudness of the speaker: normal, i mean it does kind of sound more loud than most, but is not that great of a deal
X-loud ON, sound pureness/quality: ok here we had some issues, i mean we all wrote something different, first of the treble seems to be greatly enhanced affecting it on low quality recordings (low bit-rate mp3s tend to sound worst and give that old radio feeling), the bass sounds better not minding the recording quality, there seems to be a "tape" feeling on some songs when the x-loud is on (that kind of "zzzzz" white noise you used to get on old cassettes, this was only said by one person we put some files after she said that but we couldn't notice that or any noise, she insist on it tho so im putting it here).
X-Loud OFF, sound pureness/quality: we all agree sound quality for a small speaker is good, however one of us is a silly apple fanboy and he kept saying iphone speaker is better, we only had one file to test it in booth devices, only he kept his opinion the rest didn't, i will leave him the benefit that it wasn't a loseless format, but all in all the speaker does a really good job.
please keep in mind that i made this with Symphonic music and an anime video in mkv with dts/flac audio, the music was in both mp3 and flac format, i hope this helps =P
