[deleted post]Sorry its actually closer to 530 usd, i picked it up from one of the many shops inside lowyat plaza kl.
Again the phone is top notch it has its negatives but to me none are deal breakers not even close, anyway don't take my word for it, wait (patiently) for gsmarena to do a full review

Super fast, good camera, good sound and display! Design is unique. Not like that iPhone look alike crap! S3 is cheap plasticky and they can't design something better.

Hi,
Its been a week with xperia ZL and to be honest i love this phone. looks good works good.. smaller in size than the Z. Only thing that bothers me is that the phone gets heated while playing games BUT it may be because I have it in the free plastic cover I got with it. Rest all is good...

Got mine last Saturday.. After 4 days of usage, I can say that the battery is not as bad as people think.. It lasts 1 and a half day with moderate usage.. Playing games drains the battery faster.. Loudspeaker is loud enough for both calls as well as music.. Camera is excellent (seriously guys, it's just a phone, want better quality, buy a SLR or something)..
GSMArena, a lot of people are interested in buying this phone. You guys have standard methods for testing audio and camera quality, so your opinions are what people trust more than an average user review. So it's high time that you guys posted a review for this phone.

ZL have Infrared sensor. You can use your phone as remote controller to operate your TV and other IR enabled gadgets. Z don't have IR sensor.
ZL have slightly higher capacity battery.
Z have both side glass body but ZL have rubberized back, will have better grip.
ZL is small in size but thicker than Z.
ZL have secondary camera at bottom. Z have it at top
ZL have dedicated camera capture button but Z don't have.
There are some more difference I missed.
