The Xperia ZL is definitely better than Z. After reading a few articles and reviews on both phones I can say ZL is better. The Z does have a waterproof feature but like what someone has said before, the rubber that prevents water from getting in the phone will most likely worn off after a few months which will make the waterproof feature useless.
I've seen a lot of issues with the Z, particularly the "sleep of death"

Anonymous, 31 Mar 2013hi anyone can let me know does zl supports 32gb or 64gb mem... more ZL supports 64 gb microSD cards. No, the 64 gb (class10) card doesn't consume more battery than 32 gb (class 10). I'm using SanDisk 64 gb class 10 microSD without any issues.

Guys, I was able to pick up the C6502 model in KL, Malaysia for a mere 1650 ringgits (500 USD)!! this baby is the best bang for buck on the market no questions asked, trust me anything other than what this phone offers is a gimmick and waste of money. spend your money wisely and get this phone. Well done Sony you are off to a bright future.
