Israk, 31 Mar 2016Where is the marshmellow?I don't think ZL gets Marshmallow update... Sony already did a great favor for giving it 5.1.1 update although device was already 2,5 years old at the time. But if it still gets Marshmallow at some point, that will be great exclusive extra from Sony to ZL owners :)

I have been using ZL for last three years. It works nice till today with excelent battery performance. If anybody know that XL wil have the latest update of Andriod Marshmellow or not.

I have been using it since May 2013. Yet I donot face any problem. The battery is still working nice. I donot think to change or sell it although I have Galaxy S6 edge plus and htc one xl still running with it.

Like 3 months ago i got the same problem most of the users are having. The phone just drop dead and only turn on while charging so a i took to a sony repair shop in my city they stayed 2 months with the phone and didnt fix anything so i took it out of the store and replaced the battery myself. Unfortunately it didnt work at all the phone still need to be charging to turn on. I really don´t know what to do right now. I loved this phone and i would like to fix it.

Awsome phone. I picked up one of ebay for 80 dollars with a dead battery. Got a new battery off ebay and replaced it myself. Its not difficult. Just see youtube on how to do it. Bets phone ever no new phones have a better form factor. I love it.

You have to do factory reset on your phone. Before that copy your all photos & video to sd card &remove sd card

I'm a new user of Sony ZL and the Google play app will not open on my mobile after several uninstalling and reinstalling.
Please I need help on how to resolve this or better still get a Sony market.

You can easily get one from eBay at around ₹1200 and then ask a local repairshops to replace it.. Other wise there are plenty of videos available on YouTube from which you can by yourself replace the battery

Best phone I have ever owned! In may its gonna be three years old and I have no desire to exchange it for a new one. The hardware is still top notch and the size is perfect. I had to change the speaker because i once spilled some beer on it, But the exchange was really easy and the new microphone did cost like 10 euros. I seriously hope that Sony will bring marshmallow for it.

Hi Guys,
I am using sony ZL since 2013 till now i dont get any problem with my mobile, but 2 days back my phone is switched of and again on and on shows sony xperia on screen then today it got shutdown, When i went to sony service center they told this is not repairable, u have a choice like replace with 20% amount back and pay 80% , you have buy in z series phone only.
Please advice me for this problem what i will do?
Anybody give me suggetion.
