I had bought my xper... moresame with me yaar they have given me a refurbished zr on asking them it does not look new they told again and again told me that its new only..it has a scratch guard on it with a few scratches also..i got the mobile on 5th November on checking the body of phone i found out that it is cut from side..so now what should i do..should i take it back to the service centre and ask for a new mobile or complain on the helpline no to sony??plz anyone help me in this matter

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE AT ANY COST!!
I had bought my xperia ZR in september 2013. Within two months i've had to replace my mobile twice!! Sony has really made a mess out of this cell
1. You think that the ZR is waterproof? WRONG!! The charging flap (which is opened and closed daily) becomes loose within the 1st 15 cycles.
2. My ZR earpeice malfunctioned within a weeks time. The Sony executives agreed that it is a manufacturing defect. Sony official store (from where i bought the mobile) had assured me that they will give me a BRAND NEW boxed piece if anything happened. But then they said they will give only the handset and they cannot proved whether it has been previously used or not.
3. A bigger problem! i got my handset replaced (with a refurbished one) after waiting for a week. But the "new" handset had a malfunctioning bluetooth, wifi and radio!!
DO NOT BUY THE XPERIA Z SERIES AT ANY COST!! Read the sony official site. See the amount of complaints the customers are facing regarding the Z series from ALL THE COUNTRIES

I hate to say this, but Sony has lost its charm. The Service centers are beyond horrible. I had to wait for 3 hours just to login my complaint (that too a manufacturing defect). Stay away from all the XPERIA mobiles. The warranty policy is just to trick the customers. Do not believe when the Sony store executives tell you that you will get your handset replaced by a brand new one.
I am going to sell my ZR and opt for a nexus 5 as soon as it is launched in India. You all can also read my posts on the sony mobile facebook page
