my phone is having android 4.1.2 trying to upgrade to 4.2 which is the latest software for this phone.I am having a problem, when i am connecting my phone through pc companion it shows that you already have the latest software version,even i tried through the phone is shows the same message.Can some one please help me regarding this.
PS: My phone was not 100% charged while trying for the update.

c bhatt, 25 Aug 2013Hey bro m also passing from this sucking bluetoth problem n... morejust go to nearby sony service center around your house and just tell them about your bluetooth problem then they will take your phone and will give u a replace one in 6-7 days.
and if they dont agree with the replacement of the phone then fight with them for it they will definitely replace it.

but will the new one will also have the same problem?
coz I'm not the only one facing this problem so many peoples are facing this problem.
are u a xperia zr user do u noticed such problem?

--- till not faced any prob to go the customer care, dont go by one person opinion

I have been following the user comments on Sony xperia zr for quite some time now. Apart from the water resistance part I have not left any stone unturned. People complaining here about several issues such as bluetooth, camera,wifi etc. Even some experts reviews are commenting negative regarding the gaming capability of this phone. I really do not know if it is because of faulty handsets,poor operating habit,false propaganda or what ever it may be but as far as my 2 month experience is concerned I am more than enough satisfied with this mobile.I am a gamer and until now I have played a number of high end games in it(NFS,Real racing 3 etc) without a single bit of issue. If one knows how and where to use which camera setting then I do not know many phones that can compete Zr camera performance but its certainly not a "superior auto mode" all the way. Use SAM only when the subject is well lit under sunlight or using flash from proximity under well lit home environment for the rest use normal mode and adjust EV & matrix properly to get wonderful pics. e-id: ripples@rocketmail.com

Zarikiey, 24 Aug 2013I have bluetooth problem with my ZR..it does not funtioning... moreBefore going to sony customers service, please do check first the settings of your bluetooth. First turnnon the bluetooth and then have a look at your phones name, under it there is a sentence that saying 'visible only on paired devices' if this is what youbsee, just click the name of your phone and it will show the message 'visible to all bluetooth' and aftet that go to settings and click the bluetooth timeout select the option there 'never time out'. I hope I helped you mate.

sehrahxx, 22 Aug 2013I have been using my ZR for a good week, and I absolutely l... moreAs far as I know the default keyboard has the capability to learn new words and recall them in the suggestions. It can even sometimes successfully prioritise the suggested words. You can also edit or delete your words under the Xperia keyboard settings > text input settings > my words. I use the Swype method and this function comes really very handy. I 've tried many keyboards however, I personally prefer the minimalist default Xperia keyboard.
P.s.
I don't own ZR but I am a Sony user and there are currently five xperias in my family S, SL, T, Tx and live with walkman and they all have this functionality

I'm actually debating weather i could buy this or not now, Got the funds to go for it, But people just keep putting problems on here, How many percent of people that own the phone have these problems? I need some people to comment on here who don't miss use the phone and say theres are fine!
