Phone itself has good specs, fast enough for internet browsing and playing games(it does heat up though). I like the removable battery and SDcard. However, 8GB internal memory translates into 4.52GB available and SDcard is limited to 32GB, unlike what the website says. It's made all of plastic and screen is assembled with double-sided sticky tape. The biggest problem I had was the headphones socket that gets broken easily, phone thinks it is always connected and internal speaker is no longer working. If you're in UK, I advise you not to buy it, Sony UK won't repair it since it's "unsupported" by them. The seller on Amazon ignored me completely although the phone still had warranty. Sony Hong Kong told me they wouldn't support users from other countries so I ended up repairing the socket myself which got broken 2 months later.

I dont known how to root brah! And its kinda risky you know f your not familiar to root phone...chill brah you'll get over it brah im using 4.4.4 sony zr and and 4.1.2 have a bugs too you know and 4.4.4 its better somehow brah... Just wait for the lollipop update for more bug fixing and new features for now u have to chill brah...

Everything is fine but,
over heating,Wi-Fi connectivity problem,both Wi-Fi & Hotspot stopped working...
tried updating OS,resetting the mobile but no use

Im a big fan of SONY ERICSSON MOBILE. I have used 3 mobile phones of it. But frankly speaking im nt impress by its xperia zr.
Camera snap: very disappointed with this part of sony. Photo was clear but its blurred while zooming. So dont ever think abt zoom. If you compare camera 13mp with any Samsung or nexus 5 (8MP). then also you will nt get tht much deep details of the photo.
Camera video recording: impressive.
Audio jack: no other cheap headphone works here. Only some will works.
Heat: phone gets heated using

Im a big fan of sony.. I hv used 3 phones and now im using Xperia ZR. Frankly speaking im not happy with it.
Camera snap: Poor performance (never thought abt zooming). It will blurred. If you compare it with Nexus 5 (8MP shutter) you will definitely disappointed.
Camera video recording: quite impressive.
Quality is good.
