chester, 13 May 2013This phone is not small and people on this forum are tellin... morePhysic dude, S4 is 13.6mm x 69.8mm x 7.9mm which is bigger than ZR. You should not compare a flagship with a mini version of Z which is the flagship. And FYI, Sony made the Z to compete with the S3 and iPhone 5. The killer for S4 is on the way. Sony make better devices than Samsung.

The SP is taking ages as it is. they announce new models while still milking the current model for as long as possible. I wish Sony would get a clue with their marketing.

Aargh! Just when I was warming up to the Xperia SP, Sony HAD to go and announce this baby. The Xperia ZR. Damn you Sony, and thank you.

So, this or the SP. And how much do you think this will cost?

size very close on xperia zl.
                        but screen size smaller.
so we can't call it xperia z/zl mini.
maybe we can call it xperia zl mini screen.

This phone is not small and people on this forum are telling lies.

With Dimensions of 131,3 x 67.3 x 10.5 mm this phone is just the same size of Limia 920 and SGS 4.

Any phone with body dimensions bigger than 120 x 60 x 7,5 mm, is way too big to hold in hand.

This phone had the body as big as other funny phone and a smaller screen.

Only water and dust proof feature is making fanboys blind to the fact that it's to big like it's brothers.

I think i switch my mind for XZ to these ZR. 1080p not to useful and unnoticeable compared to 720p 4.55", but with same CPU and RAM, the ZR will going crazy for its performance.

Dedicated camera button really useful for picture taking underwater and its size is smaller, perfect !

JM, 13 May 2013Good job in making a smaller phone with high end specs but ... moreyou see this is the problem with people nowadays, they all scream "we want this, we want that", and sometimes a sacrifice has to be made in this case, everyone cried out for powerful mid range phone with very good specs, extras like very good camera, with dedicated button, and its sacrifice is to be a few MM thicker to compensate for well over 1/2" digagonal space loss and already people are moaning about its thickness, it is not premium so will NEVER be as thin as xpera Z, but the damn thing is waterproof still, and it will of course be under 10mmm which is still slim for a mobile...deal with it
