i'm running android 4.3 and it's good, i received a notification for software update 10.5.A.0.230,Any one try it please tell if it is a good for ZR or not ???

I got OTA update since then I got problemsbut trust me go to your nearest sony service center they will update your phone and you will see that lag is finished

For the rapid draining of battery after kitkat upgrade install and run GServicefix from google play store.
I have upgraded it and now using it happily.
KitKat restrictions apply.

I also use its great phone but I still have bluetooth problem after updating kitkat also 😞

my xperia zr got the update kitkat now but after that it's lagging more, overheat when just leave it and the battery storage carried-out faster. are any one have a solution or one have this problem.

My friend's Xperia Z had a similar problem after a month of purchase. We argued with it at the pace v bought it(Sony Center, chennai). After a heated arguement, they replaced the device and now he's using it for more than a year and happy with it.

I bought the fab- 10400 Mah Power bank.
Charges ZR 3-4.5 times.
No self draining of battery. So now I fee like I've 12700 Mah battery.
10400 + 2300 of the phone. :)

hey, i got xperia zr about 20 days back. i got it from dubai, it came with latest kitkat , when i switched it on for the first time and connected to internet, it showed some update, without checking what is there in update , i updtaed and it went to 4.2.2 jelly bean. i kept checking for updates now it is 4.4.2 kitkat. but the camera is not working, it shows "some error and camera not available". what is the problem? please help

i bought my xperia zr around 6 months back, and few days back i found a hairline crack on my screen and the touch is not working, my phone did not fell, and i m sure there is no physical damage, the crack came in from no where,(i guess its due to internal heating)
the sony centre guys are saying u will have to pay Rs. 12000(around 200 USD) to get it replaced, and are refusing to fix the screen.
there are not ready to believe its due to internal heating,because there is no scratch on the whole body of the phone,its just a small line that is hardly visible, they are just blaming it on me.
i have also seen many similar cases online with this phone and other z series models
please provide me with a good solution because i m not in a state to spend that much money on this phone

Now in android 4.4, i charge every morning.
All i do is play games(shadowgun and real racing), whatsapp and walkman.. And fb..
