you need to install z4root and root it permanently because temporary root doesn't work for many. and then download and install an app named "root app remover" and from then on its simple..dont uninstall any apps without knowing what it it..
can someone post the gfive battery alternative and its price.
has anyone tried upgrading froyo to gingerbread. i contacted the customer care today and the lady seems to have no knowledge about the gingerbread update.. to get the best performance install"go launcher ex" launcher app.... u ll love it..
for this price a dual sim andro is great. the only drawback is the battery which "veera" knows how to fix and we hope he ll let us know soon.. and the SAR is 1.48 W/Kg.
and i hope that spice ll roll out a gingerbread upgrade to the existing customers.

oh god. today i install z4root and root my phone. after that it works very slow and cant install or uninstall any apps. so i re-root it. after that i just switch off. after 1minute i just try to turn on, but failed. It freezes on the secong welcome screen showing spice. the lights are on. what to do. its only 3 days old mobile

Can handle 2-3 apps at onc... morecant see wifi hotspot option in my mi-270. i installed a third party app (dr saver battery) in that app i saw wifi hotspot option i try to turned on but showing (connection failed) even i cant connect my wifi modem. when i try to connect my wifi modem it showing obtaining ip aggress" for about 30sec and showing disabled or connection failed what to do its only 2 days old. is there any other thing i can do??

Unless you require an Android with dual sim functionality, you can look some other alternatives..
like Motorola Fire ..

Can you tell the exact GFive battery model number that fits this phone? Battery life is about a day. Would love to extend it for couple more.
Update:
I just slept over my phone :( bottom-right part of screen is cracked. But touchscreen works great always :)
Overall..a good phone. VFM.

its a dual sim standby model. and for rooting try z4root and then download "root app remove" from the market. trust me, u gonna find many apps that u didnt know that were installed in ur fone. be careful with the delete. in case of doubt google the app name and then proceed to delete. there are many chinese social networking apps preinstalled.. will keep u posted. so long..

Can you clarify if this is dual sim active or just dual sim standby? In dual sim standby, both sim will receive signals and either one can receive a call. If some one dials SIM2 when you are on a call on SIM1 the caller will get a message that you are out of reach or switched off (depends on the network). In Dual sim active, both SIM can receive calls simultaneously and you can hold SIM1 call to speak to SIM2 call and vice versa.
I use a samsung 5212i dual sim active and happy with the phone but phone book entries are limited to 1000. I have about 2600 frequently called numbers so travel with a paper directory all the time.

as for the problem relating to hd video. its ok now. dont know what was the magic behind it. but i did install lg cam app and experimented with a lot of video configs.after that video is playable in pc. i can also set songs as ringtone which i couldnt do initially. battery backup is very poor. the edge is always on. the widgets to turn of gprs works only for a very short time. and to get the best of the phone use "go launcher ex" and its widgets, or launcher pro. they are the best apps i used till now. the effects are amazing and there is no laging. but the notification light glowing continuously is a headache. hope someone build a custom rom for this.
can someone please tell us what are the prices of the batteries which can be used in this phone. and the model number.
to root the device, download z4root. install it. permanently root the phone if temporary root doesnt work. if its rooted u ll see a icon named superuser in your app menu. then you ll have to install and work with "terminal emulator" to delete all the stock apps. its easy but time consuming with all the typing. can someone find a dialer app which supports dual sim dialing.

nokia 3120c batery working fine in mi270. buy new batery charge 6hrs minimum n switch off mode

got it only yesterday. battery lasts for a single day.a gps is working very well. but you cant play the hd videos taken from the phone on the pc or another mobile . dont know why. i was not able to uninstall unwanted stock softwares yet. rooted it. but still cant. please help if anyone knows the cure.

Battery life is very poor.
