this phone has lots of properties such as it has got 1.3 (actually) Ghz dual core processor and mediatek mt6572 chipset which lets jelly bean run with 512 mb ram otherwise it requires 1 gb ram to run. thanks to mediatek. touch is smooth. if u face problem in operating the screen then let yor fingers sweat free.
it plays games smoothly like gameloft, glu games. user interface is also smooth on account of jelly bean 4.2.2 . and it never gets hung up though its battery is a problem to tackle, only 1400 mh. pixel density of screen is 240 ppi and gpu is of great advantage as it has mali 400 MP dual core which is perfect for u to play various games over it. user memory is for 2 gb and rest is occupied by the device. this phone is of great advantages only if u give a better attitude to it. it looks like one of sony xperia ranges. camera works great under sunlight or where light prevails and it does 720p video recording. front camera is far good to make video chatting. what else do you want from a cheap phone?

Neha Verma, 18 Oct 2013zen ultrafone 501 has old Android, v4.1. This means not all... morezen ultrafone 501 has good battery. IPS display. Read some user reviews and they said the camera is good and takes decent photos even at nights. I dont think there is much difference between android 4.1 and 4.2 . I just read in a post.

I got the phone and it is wonderful.
pros Runs fast,
boots too quickly,
no lag,
1.17 gb phone mem and 1.1 gb internal mem
dual 3g working fine
no problem while changing from 3g to 2g
android 4.2.2 as said
250mb to 100mb ram free,
total 430mb
face detection, proximity, auto smile detection works cons
battery not too good
a small bug in music player. ie the notification has forward icon but previous and pause icon is not the correct icons.
Also i tried 720p and 1280p videos, both working without any lag.
Nfs hot pursuit works fine without lag.
anyway good phone.

Worst phone, poor build quality, worst camera, touch response is worst... No touch get compliment, i bought it from Snapdeal now I don't know how to claim the warranty and how to find a service center. I am from Thodupuzha, Kerala please help me

zen ultrafone 501 has old Android, v4.1. This means not all apps and video chats will be supported. Yes, it has flash but if you cannnot do video chat properly, then it may not be the pick!
