yes, you can obviously upgrade minor versions.
if 4.2.2 is available for update from ur settings, u should definitely update to that version.
all the updates will be visible in your phone settings itself..

screen's abnormal behavior during charging is solved by changing the charger. I think my charger was faluty one. I had charger of Xolo Q800 which work perfectly well for Spice MI 525 and screen behaves very normal during charging.

The only problem find is the BATTERY...... if the company can do something nothing llike it.!!!!!!!!!!!!

which version did you put after rooting? Can i install stack andriod 4.2.2 and if yes where can i get it from? 4.2.1 has been reported to have some bugs (including abruptly restarting of device) which they have fixed in 4.2.2

Here is my review on common issues
1. Restart problem: I bought samsung's class 10 16 GB memory card. Didnt help in any way to improve response time of the phone. Phole still got hanged and resrated twice since then.
2. Lag in menu scrolling: Yes there is a lag during scrolling through menus. No matter wat you do, it wont go awaay.
3. Simple games like temple run and beach buggy blits does not work smoothly.
4. Service centers are hopeless. Adviced me to keep phone in their service center and they said they will have to return it company which will take 15 to 20 days.
So if you are confused which phones to buy, and u r checking this one out, i would suggest not to go for this. Thank you

Yes its true that any lag while browsing thru home pages or apps list can be eliminated by using a different launcher like Go Launcher but it seems to occupy some 50 odd MB RAM. Also, theres LGCamera app which helps capture better photos than the default camera app. However there is some issue with videos captured using the app....no sound...

I am also planning to buy Trascend class 1... morePlz don't buy class10 transend or sandisk they will give you 7-8mbps write speed @ max but samsung 32gb class6 will give you 15mbps constant write speed. I've 2 samsung and 1 sandisk ultra. my ultra is lagging @ 8mbps while samsungs clockes @ 14-15!

Thanks Sriniket. I am also planning to buy Trascend class 10 sd card. Will post the results here. Also to over come the lag issue, you can use launcher, but yes it also consumes some memory. But gives you a good UI :)

I had put 16GB MicroSD Card (Class 2) and found that it was still able to record Full HD Videos. The RAM Free was at most 370-380MB.
I changed the MicroSD Card and put a 32GB Samsung Class 6, and found that the Free RAM jumped to 500-520MB. I guess that the amount of space available in the card also plays role in amount of free RAM Available.
I also faced issue of screen behaving little abnormally when phone is charging but its not a constant issue. I found it happening only once till now, and its something that I have read as issue in review of some other phones (Spice and non-Spice), so not really a deal breaker.
As I use the phone, I find that its quite good and worth the price that we pay for it. Except for the occasional 1 second lag and average Nenamark2 score (34 fps), not much else to fault with it. The camera performance is actually decent and while 1080p videos are a little jittery (19fps instead of 30fps), the 720p videos are very smooth. A small compromise :)

rupesh, 09 Aug 2013please sugest me weather i will go for SPICE PINACLE PRO OR... morefhd is much btr phone yaar....it is 1920*1080 which is full hd...and it is worthy to spend some more...if ur surrounded with hd phones then it is best to compete with and able to defeat some of them....but sab se bada rupaiya boss....its upto you... big screen of 5.3 inch with 1.2 GHz and no hd....or clear screen with 5 inch fhd and 1.5 GHz.......if i was u...i would like to test the fhd
