            Couple of more things -
            1. When I set the Audio Profile to Ring+Vibrate, when I call someone, the moment the person picks up my call, the handset sends out a vibration! Not sure if this is a standard feature in all Android 4.2 phones

            2. Didn't find a way yet in which I could re-arrange the order of the home screens!

Forgot to mention that while the box mentioned abt free Flip Cover, they instead packed in a scratch-gard. And I must say its the worst quality scratch-gard that I have seen. It got badly scratched on Day 1 itself. Am looking to get it replaced ASAP.

The other thing is that the device doesn't come with Gorilla Glass hence scratch-gard is a must else be ready for scratches on the screen.

Lastly, I am not sure where I can get back-cover, flip-cover or a good quality scratch-gard for this phone, since Spice is a lesser known brand. If someone is aware, pls let me know.

I guess this is the first 'FULL REVIEW' of this phone in the world!! Glad to be the first....

I bought the Spice FHD MI-525 purely after looking at the specifications...didn't wait to read any reviews....and I am not exactly overwhelmed/blown away by it.

                    Looks:
The phone looks very very good, because its got a black screen, white border, silver side, and white colored backside, but I think few other models like the Lenovo S920/S890 also have similar styling elements. Overall, very good looking phone

Build Quality: No squeaks or squeals....its well built - but I guess most of the phones today are quite well built. The back is shiny plastic but doesn't feel slippery. The volume/power buttons are placed in conventional position and feel good too.

Display: Probably the single biggest selling point of the phone, and it does pretty well on that front - can't exactly distinguish Full HD from a HD display, but the benchmark tests like Antutu and Quadrant confirm it. After using this phone, I came to conclusion that ideal size of phone display is 4.5 to 4.8 inches. Anything more and it becomes little difficult to carry and use.

CPU/GPU: Mediatek M6589T (Turbo) - 1.5Ghz Quad-core and PowerGX 544MP - 357Mhz. Another major selling point - simply because the other phones are 1.2 Ghz. How much does it matter in real life? Read on...

Benchmark Tests: ANTUTU Score - 14500, Quadrant - 4700, so very good scores indeed, until you compare it with the other phones with similar CPU/GPU power. Thats when you realize it could've been little better...also, how much does it matter in real life? Read on....

OS - Android 4.2.1...another selling point because most of the other phones come with 4.1.

User Experience - I am not sure how much Spice has customized the UI over stock Android 4.2 but the experience is a little 'disappointing' because there is a occasional prominent 'lag' while scrolling thru' the home screens or the app list. Not something you expect with this kind of phone!

RAM - 1GB, but I found that around 350-400MB is available/free. Also, you need to constantly clear the tasks running in background because it hogs memory. Found tat its not an issue in Nokia Lumia phones.

Camera - Its 8 Megapixel, but the performance is actually very ordinary. Seems like sensor has very limited aperture range. In any condition other than daylight (eg: Indoor, night-time,etc), the camera gives disappointing results. The camera also seems to have issues with focusing on objects. Similarly, the video is 1080p but again focus is a issue, specially at night and indoors. Also, its stored in 3gp format and not mp4. Not to forget, there's some software issue due to which the phone seems to hang occasionally while viewing pics in gallery. Also, there's one more issue where photos are stored but don't get displayed in the gallery. It says "No Thumbnail". Probably another glitch. Also, the camera module consumes around 200MB of RAM - awful lot!!

Audio quality - Speakerphone is very loud but distorts very quickly. Guess some issue with my piece. The in-ear earphones fit well, are of good quality, and offer very good sound. There's equalizer option which allows you to set the 5 bands according to your listening preferences.

Battery Life - very good battery life. With sparing use, it lasts me 2-3 days. With WIFI On continuously, it lasts around 12-15 hours.

Cost - I paid 16990 at saholic.com and got 12 month EMI. I thought of the Spice MI-535 since its much cheaper (13K) but was afraid of the size.

Overall - A good phone, but I think it could've been much better. Probably will get better after some software updates, etc.

AnonD-113404, 26 Jul 2013It has no gpu, haha.Hey friends those who are confused b/w mmx canvas a120 and spice mi 525 FHD, then without thinking go for spice one, spice is far away better then mmx in build quality and features as well. All these brands are indian thats why we get confused b/w spice and samsung, all because earlier there was no one to stand against samsung bt now indian companies are over taking them,Apple products are also manufactured in china,And spice is really far away better in all aspects like care, built quality, camera too, and other features
                                      SPECIFICATION DIFFERENCE:
                                      PROCESSOR:
Spice 1.5 ghz quad core mediatek M6589T
Mmx 1.2 ghz quad core mediatek M6589T

                                      GPU:
                                      544 mmx
554MP in spice which is also in samsung galaxy s4

                                      Both have one gb ram

Micromax have 13mp camera and spice have 8 but earity is more in spice one, mmx have only name of 13.

Mmx have 16gb internal and spice have 8gb but dont go for this drawback 8gb is enough, you can increase memory by external sd card bt you cannot make a processor of 1.2 ghz to 1.5 ghz so go for this point.

                                      SCREEN:
MICROMAX HAVE 720X1280 AND SPICE HAS 1920x1080(441 ppi) which means spice display is far away sharper Nd better, and price of spice fhd is also less then mmx,

Don't go for mmx i am not an agent of a spice bt m using spice from one year i have used mmx cavas 2,spice mi 425,mi 500 and 535, you can compare benchmarks of spice and mmx having same specifcation and see the diff, i have told you my experience.
