This is not rooted though it says in Settings,I tried using some apps needing root access and confirmed that it requires to be rooted manually. There are some sites having the root guide, however my problem is getting its driver installed. I tried with PDA Net which did not detect the phone at a stage. I got the Driver sent by Customer Care in email but again when unzipping it .it says corrupted.. I am desperately trying to root so that i can unleash android`s full power.. Any one has any success in rooting this so far?? Please Help !!

Spice is used to flavor foods or beverages. Please change your brand name to Sprice, Sprie, Sprixe or Splice. Brand name Micromax, Karbonn are very good to be heard...

Hi friends ! All we know very well that everything has a certain life so how long the phone "Spice stellar pinnacle mi 530" would be alive you realized with the normal,minimum and hard uses?
Does the phone works well when more apps are to be loaded and internal memories are filled with minimum 10 GB out of 16 GB (10/16)?
Does the phone acts well or more well after upgrading with jellybean?

It is really unfortunate, may be they don't have upgrade with them, hence they are waiting for 3-4 days.
In Pune Service Ctr I went for an Upgrade and was out with latest upgrade and a big smile in less than 25 Mins.
One person was sitting next to me was getting a brand new handset in replacement with additional 1 year warranty, he took around 10 mins. and Next it was me, technician took my handset and handover my SIM Cards, and Memory module and did the upgrade job in less than 10 Min, I checked the upgrade and other stuff, and in less than 25 Mins I was out of the service ctr.
As of now Service Experience is way better than Nokia or other Service Ctrs. which are always crowded and takes couple of hrs to reach desk.

Hi friends! every body should realize before buying any mobile phone or any electronics devices of any company must have to keep in mind some points at first!!(1).If anybody may get any quick proper services or proper treatments very gently after perches any device according to their promises as before!(2).If there are available service centers in locality or in affordable distances !(3).If there are any "eligible and well efficient technicians" in servicing centers the most valuable point!(4).If there are available any kind of accessories of the device is to be perched in servicing centers or in open market! Then nobody would take so longer time to make their decision to buy any mobiles or electronic devices of any company without any confusion !! So please it's my humble request to all, everybody should follows these above 4 (four) valuable points carefully before perches any mobile or electronics devices, then everybody must be benefited with their budgets , that's all.

This phone was factory rooted on ics i.e. (there was an root access option in settings/developer option). But after it was updated to jelly beans that rooting option is not there and hence the phone is now not rooted. Is it same with your phone as well. Plz. reply.

Gr8 review. I know about spice, bcoz it s older thn MMX. So service is better thn MMX. Right now I m using Sony Ericson Aspen windows mobile. It s really eating my head. Now wants to upgrade. So I decided fr MMX A116, bt d availability is a big prb. Bt whn I compared with MI 530 I gt a huge difference apart frm d CPU n display. Rest of d things are far away frm A116. Supper specs are thr in Mi 530. Bt nw same prb fr this also, no availability. Right nw I m in Chennai. Online nt available in Saholic.com. Also one more thing the video recording is 720p or 1080p ? If u cld send me sme video samples in my mail id for 1080 p suits tht wl be helpful. (papul1111@gmail.com).
