Battery is very good, I am getting @ 2 Days backup with full Mobile use for Calling, 3G browsing, Wifi, Download, Few Videos and music, and some gaming. Even after this good use there still some juice left. With heavy usage It should easily last 1 1/2 days. Charging is also very fast.
Spice Service is very good, so far I am happy. Wrote to Spice Service Ctr. regarding Jelly Bean Upgrade 4.1.2 got revert and advice to visit service ctr. for upgrade. Visited local Service Ctr. and Upgrade was done in less than 15 Min. Also there was one customer whose handset was not repairable (after 8 Months), Spice offered him a brand new handset of equivalent amount, with additional 1 year warranty.
After a very detailed and practical study, I have purchased this device and I am fully happy with this GEM.

can anybody tell me about battery back up of Spice Stellar Pinnacle Mi-530. i'm planning to buy it since 10 days. but i have doubt about battery n service center response as this phone had been discontinued from spice hotspot retail chain.
so guys suggest n share ur experience with Spice Stellar Pinnacle Mi-530..... thanks.

What to do with thatDear, if you have upgraded to jelly beans than root apps will not work as now it is not rooted. This is a big drawback after upgrade.

As mentioned earlier I was also impressed with these two devices, then I started practical comparison, and finally I reached to a conclusion that Spice MI530 is a better Package. I am just trying others to help make their decision, and that is the reason I am posting few comments on Micromax A116 page.
About Camera yes it is capable of recording HD Videos. and yes it can play full HD videos as well, and Yes to HDR. Camera Dual flash is very bright and does its job perfectly. It has ZSD, Geo Tag, Continuous Multiple shot up to 40, Exposure, Self Timer, Sharpness, Hue, Saturation, Brightness, Contrast, Picture Size (Pixel), ISO, AE Meter, Anti Fliker, Scene Modes, White Balance, Flash Mode, Yes HDR, Panorama, etc, with Video recorder you have Video Quality (HD), Geo Tag, EIS, Focus Mode, Exposure, Sense Mode, Video Duration, Microphone, Sharpness, Hue, Saturation, Brightness, Contrast, Anti Flicker, Audio Mode, Time Laps Interval, Effects, Color Effect, Flash Mode, etc.
Display is also very good and Bright, No problem even out in bright day light. Viewing angle is not that wide, but still it is good.
Its Fit and Finish is very nice and it certainly looks like a premium device. I was very much concerned about this as this is my first budget phone. Trust me it looks premium.
Camera is also very good but not as good as high end devices like Sony Xperia Or samsung S3 but sure it is worth.
In addition to this, it has got a very very buttery smooth interface, Absolutely no lags, Network strength is also very good, and even better than my Samsung Omnia, & Nokia so Big relief. On call voice clarity is exceptionally good. Noise cancellation feature seems to be working properly. Also Spice Service support is very good so far, as per their promise they have provided Jelly Bean 4.1.2 upgrade.
WIfi & 3G is very good, Fast and smooth, Wifi better than my Samsung Omnia, and 3G Better than Nokia. 3G is real Fast.
I was not at all expecting that cool performance from a device at this price. It is a wonderful surprise.
I am considering it as a complete PACKAGE !

I am still nw wating fr tht mobile. Bt I m nt a mad like others fr a brand. So I m searching a good mobile on 15k. So in this mobile lt of +ve things I found fr the money I m gng 2 spend. Thn also I am waiting fr MMX A116 on retail market. I v 2 do a hands on experience.Bt after seeing sme eye catching features in Spice Mi530 I changed my mind near to 60%. Jst clear me one thing whts the video recording and playing format (720p or 1080p or both). How is d quality of video. Also hw is d camera performance. Wht are d features available for camera settings. HDR modes available? How is d flash working in low light? Main thing is hw is d display looks? Like color saturation, viewing angle, brightness. Wll this give a prime look on hand. Plz answer these.......

Spice Stellar Pinnacle MI 530
! BEST phone one can have at this Price ! Real Value for Money !
This is the first time I bought a budget phone. I have never ever used Micromax or Spice before. I always used Sony, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, Nokia, just because of the quality they offer.
I went to the shop to buy Samsung Grand, because my budget was very limited, else I would have gone for Xperia Z. At our local shop the Samsung Grand was not available I even waited for an hour, and had to leave for my work. I was very busy hence could not visit the shop again. Then at late night I started searching online for an option in the budget of @ 20K like HTC, Nokia Lumia 820, etc. Then I came across Micromax Canvas HD A116 and Spice Stellar Pinnacle MI 530. I started my research and only got confused between these. Then I decided that this time I will give a try to Micromax or Spice and then I decided this GEM over Micromax mainly because of following.
