Does anyone know how i can uninstall applications, directly downloaded from the G1'S browser? Ive been trying to look for many ways of doing this but i have no ideas as to how i can do this. Does anyone have any tips?

It has a qwerty keyboard which is perfect but your needs but my advice would be to go into the shop and try the demo phones out for yourself.
That's the only way you'll know if the phone is right for you.

As I Text A Lot I Would Want A Phone That Is Practical For Lots Of Texting And That Will Last For The 18 Months Of My Contract.

I have this problem when I use it continusly, browser,music, ..etc.
normaly, you will need to charge it daily before you sleep, and 95% will need 2nd charge at night, for sure before midnight!

IS THIS REALY TRUE??
I'm using the phone and I don't see that!
I don't' think!! it's only by buying an application cost more than 5 dollars(7-10$)!!
ah, I hope there is a free office viewer!!!

thank you chen for answering my question. i add the data plan and it worked. but i also have an unlocked iphone, it did not work. is there anything setting i need to change on my iphone?

I had the g1 for a week and arghhhhhhhhh i was a prisoner confined to a corner next to the phone charger. I have now returned the phone and i am freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, wooo hoooooo.
Dont get me wrong the phones good but the battery life is really really really (i cant stress this enough) BAD.

Just got this phone. Can some one tell me if I add the data plan with tmobile, would the same sim card work with other gsm phone on the data plan? some people told me the G1 data plan would only work on G1. Some told me it would work on non-tmobile phones.Can any one help me on this. I don't want to pay double data services just because I want to switch off phones!!

This phone is awesome the OS is amazing and the apps which are bein released Apple wouldnt allow so the Open SOurce is paying off. The phone hardware is great and feels classy, although not bein able to text without the keyboard is a pain then again a virtual keyboard must be on the way. My major bug is the battery i spent 3days expermenting with the battery i have ok battery now with Wifi, 3g and all the apps not checking for updates regularly also no MSN/Hotmail support which is a crying shame
5/5 and by the way if your in anyway a geek this is the phone for you

i love this phone
the only downside is the battery life other than that the texting on it is good and the phone could multitask
