i love this phone
the only downside is the battery life other than that the texting on it is good and the phone could multitask

I Am Considering Getting This Phone On My Update But I'm Not Sure On What The Texting Side Of This Phone Would Be Like.
As I Text A Lot I Want A Phone That Allows Me To Text Freely And Quickly.
What Is It Like To Text Off Of This Phone?

does anyone know if it does voice recording during call?
I find this very useful, as for business purposes I have to record addresses and other details while on the move.

For your information the Iphone had several defaults when it came out...By now everyone should no...Cell Phone companys are in the business to make money..Therefore they are going to push the manufacturer to put the product out fast, and then work out the problems later...Almost all electronics have updates...and upgrades to be perform!

Oooh, I didn't know they had this in white, I dont think I would like how the bottom,(where you would hold it vertically)is bent towards you.. but I don't know, I've never used one.

I have had an iphone 3g since release and when the G1 came out I was eager to see if it leveled up up to iphone at all, and it surprised me!, the OS Android is very impressive and as a lot of potential, Its got some top apps! and its a breeze to use the one thing that annoyed me was the keyboard lol, hence the reason I cant wait for the HTC Magic (G2) to be released, I will however still keep my iphone as well as I dnt think I could live with out lol :)
I believe the HTC Magic and Iphone will be a battle ! and I thought Id neva say that :)

I have just got this handset and Im trying to download MP3 files but I can't seem to find them on the handset after It has asked me to save it to a folder, can anyone help????

Another reason I love it is because the hardware set up and software combines the best phones out there. When I had a Blackberry Bold, the one thing that I loved using was the trackball, it made it everything easy, BUT I did miss the games from the iPhone. So I transfered back to the iPhone, after all the fun and games, I started to miss the hardware keyboard. THE G1 HAS EVERYTHING.

I've had experience with alot of the top mobiles out there. And I must say that this is probably the top mobile phone out there right now. This is mainly due to the fact that it's operating system is ANDROID. It is a very easy to learn, simple, yet also buisness oriented, operating system. Very easy to set up. AND it's open source, which is awesome because it makes it that much easy to get apps for free. The only negative things I would have to say about this phone is it doesn't have a 3.5mm headphone jack. And when you are using the phone constantly, the battery life is horrible. But this can be simply fixed by purchasing a more heavy duty battery that is made for the g1. Best phone ever.
