But I've been into two T mobile shops and this phone has a really cheap soft plastic screen that can be scratched really easily. Is it just the demo version or are they all like that?? thanks, Norman

Battery life can be expanded if you turn off the wifi,3g,bluetooth,but if you want to have a better experience get ready to carry your car charger or travel charger because it really sucks all the battery faster than expected

the pulse mini from uk pay as you go is really the most affordable eclair running device ,it got radio and runs google navigator easily ,the front facing camera does not match fring and qik requirements so you can use the 3.2 mp main camera for the videochat you just have to turn the phone every time in order to see and be seen by the other person ,the voice quality in a videochat is not that good but if you turn off video call to call you will get decent quality ,I suggest Dolphin browser and wefi from the app market I hope this could be helpful for everybody

Today I risked the 100 pounds and purchased this phone. OK, firstly it is not the original pulse (shame). You do get the 3.5mm headphone jack, but the audio is poor and very quiet. The screen viewing angle can be dodgy, and the 'touch screen' almost needs a hammer blow at times to respond. But this IS a fantastic phone in many areas, it's TINY, and the addition of themes gives you beautiful screens to admire, you can set several personalized themes all which are good. Remember though many apps will NOT look right as this is only a 240x320 display, and running even opera the text is too small at times. The camera is good though, well as good as a top league phone a couple of years back, has auto focus and flash. Video plays well, and spb TV works well. Look upon it as a casual android phone, one that you have as a second phone and it's well worth purchasing. Not sure I like the idea of a stylus on an android handset. Yet to check if it has a digital compass? Overall, it one neat phone for the cash.

Huawei is making great phones nowadays, and the hardwares quite good. The design still ok (even though this one looks like a small brother of HTC tatoo)
Besides they're also opening gates for more cheap phones. But they just love hiding behind big names (such as T-Mobile, Vodafone)

Does anyone know if Froyo Android 2.2 is going to be available for pulse mini? Also is pulse mini a standard Android 2.1 and if so can the nexus version of Froyo be downloaded and updated on pulse mini?
