Crappy phone in general. I like the large display area but agree that it is glitchy performance at best. Phone turns off for no reason. Calls my voicemail by itself while I am already on another call and plays messagesthat both I and other party can hear. Camera start up is so slow I miss photo ops regularly. In my own home it is the only device that loses my wifi signal on an almost hourly basis.

The WORST phone I've ever owned. I've had it under a month and the problems grow on a daily basis. I have tried everythibg to get it to work properly.
I thought I had done my research before getting the phone - next time I'll read the reviews from people who use the phone daily (not just tech sites that that try it out to give it a review). The phone is so bad that I'm using an old phone to write this!
Where do I start with the list of problems (there are so many I know I'll forget some) - the phone just shuts down for no reason - apps constantly crash - phone freezes all the time - occasionally the phone rings but the screen is black (no way to answer a calls) - apps take forever to load (if at all) - the camera is so slow to start up you miss out on the picture you wanted to take or you take the pic, the phone freezes and the pic is lost - settings change in their own... That's a partial list but I'm sure you get the idea. Even if you reboot the phone (which usually solves some problems) it doesn't help.
I'm so disgusted I'm ready to just walk away from T-Mobile and their crappy phones for good!

I wish I had read more reviews from real people (not just tech sites). I've tried everything I've read to try and fix some if the problems and nothing has helped. I'm beyond disgusted with the phone and the way T-Mobile doesn't seem to care!!

I bought two revvl phones two months ago; the regular and the plus. These are the worse cell phones I have ever had. Nothing but issue after issue, from calls going to voice mail right away, to no one can hear me on calls but I can hear them, many other issues, I have spent hours on the phone with technicians who can’t seem to figure out what’s wrong. The phones are cheap, for a reason. If you don’t mind missing calls, not being able to make a call, or spending hours and hours trying to figure out what’s wrong with your cell phone then this is the phone for you.

I am a T-Mobile fan but this Revvl Plus leaves a lot to be desired. Issues: can't use phone unless it's on speaker. Constantly crashing. UI crashes. Browser crashes or freezes then crashes. Arbitrarily turns the do not disturb on so you can't get calls until you notice and put it back. Crashes causes phone to reset do your wallpaper disappears etc. This is my second phone in 4 months and I am waiting for the third replacement phone to arrive. I will never ever willingly purchase a crap Alcatel phone again.

I like the phone but GPS doesn't work. Constantly losses signal and often shows my location in wrong place. I got a warranty replacement phone but it has the same problems. I decided to go high end and just ordered a Pixel 2 from Google. I hope it works out well

I bought a Revvl for my daughter. She could not group text and then the screen started to fail. It was under warranty, so I thought "no big deal, get all fixed at one time." When new phone arrives, T Mobile charges me a "Warranty service Fee" of $22. BS! Is there a warranty or not? There should be a zero dollar fee, perhaps GIVE me something for the hassle. Last T Mobile phone and new carrier in near future.

In one word: Sucks!
It worked for 5 months, then one day decided to not let me answer calls anymore. Incoming calls would ring away, while the phone showed me a totally black screen. As I write this, it has been 38 days since the phone died, and I'm still waiting for the warranty replacement after conversing with 22 different T-Mobile contacts, several on multiple occasions. Unacceptable.

i..O.U.F.A, 19 Sep 2017Compared to other $100 phones I've seen, it's rubbish.I have had the REVVL plus for not even a month. Get tons of pop-up ads, in the middle of reading a text, watching a Netflix movie, reading a news article.
Have been to two stores and talked with 10+ people about the pop-up ads, and no one knows how to get rid of them!
Don't want another identical phone, want a brand have heard of; like Samsung, but I am past my 14-day trial period, and am stuck.
I truly feel my phone is defective since no one can help me. Who can I complain to?

Find "THsoft" rounded corner app, and "Another Widget" calendar Widget, and Nova Launcher, and Pixel Navbar, and you have yourself a free Pixel 2 XL interface.

I have had this phone since early Sept. We have developed a love-hate relationship. I love the feel, the LTE performance (connects on bands 4, 2 and 12), including VoLTE, and HD voice over WiFi, it can be a hotspot,. Adding a mem card can be used two ways: either as separate storage, or invisible expansion of the internal storage.
What I hate about the phone is that it bogs down really quickly when trying to multitask. And the USB C connector is really finicky. It lets most of my USB cables fall out when just turning the phone over, only a couple stay connected securely. Also I find it really annoying that if I forget to turn off the screen before putting it in a pocket, not only does it butt-dial, but it deletes app icons, starts them, re arranges my screens and that sort of random crap. no other phone I have had does that (this replaced a OnePlus One.)

Had the phone a couple of months now and have been pretty pleased with it except for one major problem. Understanding that it could be a little slow being a budget phone it certainly isn't the fastest but it has been OK. Where I have run into a major problem is with the GPS capability. The phone is so poor at acquiring and keeping my GPS location that navigation apps like Waze and Google Maps become useless, they constantly search for location or give slightly off locations that the navigation app then tries to navigate back to where i am currently, very frustrating. Multiple tech support calls with TMobile finally resulted in the admission that the antenna in the Revvl is not as capable as higher end phones and the best I could do is reset GPS cache and nav app cache every time I try to use it, sure.....
