The android development section on xda developers is dead. The whole page is discontinued roms.
I'm tempted to just sell this phone on e-bay for $80 bucks and save up for a LG myTouch Q. At least you can install Cyanogen on it. Let me know if anyone is interested.

I'm from Sydney Australia and ive had numerous sidekicks. I'm wanting to get this particular one.... Can it be unlocked & would it work with and Optus/Vodafone sim? Also would the Internet browser bee limited and some of the features be also limited due to if the phone could be unlocked and used by another provider, some one please help me here !!!

Well...just heard T-Mobile officially retired the Sidekick. They aren't sure if this will mark the end of an era. There goes my hopes for Gingerbread. :-(
At least I have the GenericGinger rom installed with the stock 2.3 launcher. Sigh.

Paninu, 16 Jul 2012How can i upgrade the o.s because its doesn't let me upgrade!You can install a custom rom to make it LOOK like ICS, but as of now, Gingerbread has yet to be released by Samsung.
If you feel like living on the edge, you can try out the Ice Cream Sandwich 2.0 Domination at the xda-developers web site.

This Phone is NOT worth your money!
It CONSTANTLY FREEZES and closes apps!
The camera is nice butno flash :( The phone sucks.....

my friend bought one of this phone, it really a cool phone but it still run 2.2 version. if they could upgrade to 2.3 it will be better cause that the only problem i have.
