I wanted to buy an Motorola Edge, which seems to be a great phone. But with all the display issues I don't dare to buy. I still own an Sony Xperia Z1 back from 2021 and was excited to see what Sony will bring this year. Well - that seems to be far too much expensive. :-(
So by now I do have the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 lite and Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro at my list.
But the first one I find too heavy, for the latter one I don't like the camera hill at the back.
As I have read yesterday about the TCL 20 Pro 5G, - I'm very excited to see first tests of it!
550€ is a bit more than I like to pay, but still affordable. And think about what you get:
1) Curved AMOLED Display that has a very good ranking at Dxomark! Check!
2) Weight less than 200g, only 190g. Check!
3) 3,5mm audio jack. Perfect!
4) 256GB of memory. Can anybody tell me a smartphone package like this for 550 with that amount of memory?
5) As per specifications very useful camera modules with OIS and 32MP Front Camera. If it performs well, then I'm very satisfied with that combination.
6) 4500mAh Battery: Could be a bit more, but then the weight would be above 200g. So it's ok.
7) Chipset is better than Qualcomm 730 / 732G, which is already good enough for daily operation. I'm in the IT for about 30 years and PC-Gamer. I can tell you a long story about actual AMD and Intel Desktop CPUs. Nevertheless the Chipset fits well for me!
8) Wireless charging. Check!
9) FM-Radio. Check! (I want to have that, it's a criteria for exclusion for me).
10) Camera modules are built in, no camera hill on the back. Perfect!
11) 5G. Check
Guys, which other device offers all this in one package for that price?
I don't know of any! Until now you will not even find any other device offering a combination of 5G, FM-Radio and wireless charging.
And please go away with Samsung. My wife has an Galaxy Note 8, which is a good device. But I hate the Samsung-GUI and what Samsung is doing to standard android!
I'm very excited to see first tests of that device. It could be a perfect buy for me!

instead of them we have new high midrange chipset
SD780G that u can find it on Mi 11 Lite 5G

That screen looks great. Though, the chipset specs are only midrange. And that price is expensive....
