    Because the screen is different, the 4G version may astoundingly enough NOT use PWM while this one does!
    Testing comparing both versions is required to confirm.

      So a 5G modem costs $50, and probably it's even more expensive, as they've had to downgrade other components such as:
      Screen, 6.78 to 6.6
      Resolution, 1080x2460 (396 ppi) to 720x1612 (267 ppi)
      Thinness, 7.9 to 9mm
      RAM, 8 to 6 GB
      CPU: Helio G88 to Dimensity 6020
      Battery: 5010 to 5000 mAh.

        I think the textured matte display is a great idea, but why feature it on two low end phones? It would be enticing if the phone had decent specs and good cameras, but not on these low end models.

          Total junk and waste of money. Not eink.
          Greekbench score: 1535 multi
          Antutu: 310k
          Androbench: 320mb read, 286mb write (it's supposed to be ufs 2.2).
          I also get itchy eyes and tired aching scratchy feelin eyes using it in evenings. Didn't understand why. then read on another forum that this uses pwm. No wonder why! I want my money back!!!!!!!!!!!! Piece of junk

                The 720p display kills it for me. I like the concept, but a higher spec version would be more enticing. I still look forward to reading some reviews on this.

                      Who actually used these matte phones? Does putting on a matte screen protector achieve the same thing? Better if my question is answered by actual users please.

                        Is this going to be available in the US? I can't find where to buy it anywhere..

                              This is weird. I just looked at the 4G version. It has bigger screen and looks better. This phone should not cost more than $200.

                                250euro for this is well overpriced its more like a 150 phone if that only has a 720 screen these days thats very poor no ultrawide camera either

                                  The phone actually looks decent and the specs are okay. I'd love to buy one if and when it becomes available.

                                    Don't know about the phone, but 'NxtPaper' is a very stupid name.
