Tecno confirms IFA participation, new smartwatch and TWS earphones may be coming
The IFA or Industriale Funkausstellung Berlin will take place between September 6-10, and today Tecno announced its participation at the exhibition. The company will showcase its "new AI strategy and AIoT offering," the announcement confirms.
Most of the products that will be at the booth were already unveiled at MWC 2024 in Barcelona, like the Pocket Go handheld console with Windows and the robot dog Dynamic 1.
Jack Guo, GM of Tecno, said that developing an AI-powered ecosystem has been a key part of the company's strategy. We already know that Tecno wants to infuse its future HiOS versions with AI capabilities but we don't know which devices will be the first to bear the new features.
The Phantom V Fold2 and Phantom V Flip2 will miss on an IFA debut, as they'll be getting a separate announcement later in September. We should however see the Megabook K16S, Megabook S1 13" and Megabook T1 14", as well as the Megabook T16 Pro 2024 Ultra laptops, the True Air 1 and Sonic 2 TWS earphones, and the FreeHear 1, Tecno's fist OWS earbuds.

Why is Tecno allowed to use the name HiOS while Xiaomi should not use the name MiOS because it is said to be too similar to the pronunciation of iOS? So that the intellectual property protection party only allows the name HyperOS.

That smart glasses 🕶️ gaming/hand held is the future Why don't others follow that style? It's like an evolution of the switch you get a bigger screen via the glass and better battery life
