Tecno Camon 20, 20 Pro 5G and 20 Pro Premier debut in India
The Tecno Camon 20 and Camon 20 Pro 5G and Camon 20 Premier unveiled earlier this month just debuted today in India.
The Camon 20 Premier will be available in Dark Welkin and Serenity Blue colors in a single version with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage. It will be available from the third week of June, but pricing is yet to be confirmed.
The Camon 20 comes in Glacier Glow, Serenity Blue, and Predawn Black colors with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It will be available from tomorrow, May 29 for INR14,999 ($181).
The Camon 20 Pro 5G is offered in Serenity Blue and Dark Welkin shades and is the only one to come in two versions. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is INR19,999 ($242), while double the storage rises the price to INR21,999 ($266). Sales of this one will begin in the second week of June
The Camon 20 Premier 5G packs an interesting camera configuration with a 50MP RGBW main camera with 23mm f/1.8 lens and sensor-shift OIS. Then there's the 108MP 13mm f/2.2 ultrawide camera with autofocus and macro abilities. At the front there is a 32MP f/2.4 fixed-focus selfie camera.
Tecno opted for the new MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chip for the Camon 20 Premier 5G. Upfront, there's a 6.67-inch 2400x1080px AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rate and a built-in fingerprint scanner. Underneath is a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging support.

The Camon 20 and Camon 20 Pro 5G have similar specs with notable differences in the chipset and camera departments. The Camon 20 is powered by the Helio G85 SoC and sports a 64MP primary camera on the rear joined by 2MP depth and QVGA units, whereas the Camon 20 Pro 5G has the Dimensity 8050 chip at the helm with the triple camera setup on the rear comprising 64MP primary (with OIS), 2MP macro, and 2MP depth cameras.
The rest of the specs shared by both smartphones include a 32MP selfie camera, HiOS 13 based on Android 13, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W wired charging. The Camon 20 and Camon 20 Pro 5G also pack 6.67" FullHD+ AMOLED screens, but the Pro model's panel has a 120Hz screen refresh rate.
