This phone is getting better with Android 13 that's why I'm interested because of the generic kernel support of the Helio G99 platform.
Compared to the Helio G96, this phone (the Helio G99) is hardware optimized, with the upgrade of Google made Kernel (5.10 or above) from the legacy kernel patches which is outdated 1-2 years ago (4.14/4.19), and with noticeable improvements of CPU/GPU/Memory performance in AnTuTu benchmark.
This device (Helio G99) is GKI compatible of the Google made LTS kernels, taking advantage of KernelSU, an alternative root solution. It also helps to build more features in hardware everytime the Android release a new patch based on the latest kernel patch for better security.
