According to the launch plan, in September, CAMON 20 Premier 5G is expected to be the first model to launch with the Google Android 14 Beta version (HiOS 13.6). By then, users around the world will begin to receive upgrade notifications.
Starting from the second quarter of 2024, CAMON 20 Pro 5G, CAMON 20 Pro, and CAMON 20 will also initiate the software upgrade to Android 14 (HiOS 14).

I dont have any system useless apps... i just uninstalled them kepted only few needed apps so much space no cloned apps amazing snappy performance only if ur pro user u know how to delete system apps without pc

YUF, 15 Jul 2024I always force-restart my phone during the latest software ... moreMain problem is previously before andriod 14 auto refresh rate working properly while using apps worked on 60hz and while opening closing apps or go back to home screen multasking shift from 60hz to 120 hz so for using apps its works on 60hz otherwise for multitask & opening closing 120hz we get it so the animation was smooth and battery performance was excellent because of that calibration but now even on auto refresh rate works like 120hz throughout while using apps or opening closing so whats the point between choosing 120hz or auto refresh rate option thats y battery drains pretty quickly before andriod 14 auto refresh rate worked perfectly and battery back was good but now throughout works on 120hz no matter auto refresh rate or 120hz perhaps slight better battery performance select 90hz refresh rate option otherwise everything working smooth... One more change u will guys see once battery reaches below 20% refresh rate shift to 60hz for battery save till device battery die i guess they did calibration to save little more battery but not look cool once battery reaches down to 19% will work on 60hz then onword till battery die performance is like really choppy lag u will notice clearly while doing activities but we can't do anything they did calibration within the system need to get used to it

I always force-restart my phone during the latest software update from Android 13 to 14 because of unusual time. It took 9hrs already since I install and restart my phone for an update my the phone itself isn't turning on, it is only in Tecno logo with loading dots repeatedly.
Does anyone has the same issue like mine? Is it normal?

My thoughts on this Android 14 update:
The software itself is not optimised as before.
Frame dates are frequent during game play, and I believe this is due to the optimization of the chipset to handle load.
It gets hot frequently, especially during charging and taking videos.
There is still frequent bugs; whatsapp notifications may delay and when in game they throttle the phone performance.
Any one who has received a new update after the Android 14 with any insight about the performance anf optimisation can chip in and tell us more.

Still nothing... Stuck at an update from April, while the CAMON 30 lineup gets the newer Android 15 yet here we are, stuck at 13, released 2 years ago

Clownfish, 05 Jul 2024yes its good but i hate the new update You're lucky you don't live in the Philippines. They have a 3 month update delay when the a14 was released in late may. As of July 7, the update is still not here even with vpn.

Is this still a good phone to get for general use and for gaming? It's appealing to me, because of the 3.5mm audio jack and an sd card slot, but I'd still like to hear some opinions.
