    I just tested this device for 3 days today, I Will share my experience using it.

    But I will share this piece.

    This device same as every device that used SoC that have 8w+ cpu is always overheat when game without proper cooling.

    Like it got above 2300mA when fully loaded while other 5-6w soc (example G99/D6080,6 gen 1,snap 865) at best is only drawing 1800mA and averaging around 1300mA.

    Just wait for my result of testing this device, probably a week from now.

It also overheats way more than it use to before the update. It also has this thing of also switching from 60hz to 120hz after a reboot (I use it on 60hz).
      Well the probleme are mostly about the battery life and the cooling, which all get worse once you update to Android 14.

          New update is out and it seems they don't even care about all we are saying.
          They're fixing issues that nobody cares about and ignoring the one everybody is begging them to fix.

              nekosei, 11 May 2024i bought this back in aug 2023. Mostly i used this for game... moreupdate: this smartphone is still working and so as the charger. i accidentally once wet the charger connector and coincidentally that my phone was on 1% barely hanging bc i was too focus on playing a game and it did not charge 😭 i thought that was the end of my phone. it didn't charge bc it was overheating (my fault). lesson learned. i now have a habit of after changing i immediately put away the charger, away from any liquid and cool down the phone first before charging. i consider the phone low battery on 30% bc i learned that is the battery percentage u should charge.. any phones at all..

              btw i still play mlbb and bypass charging is amazing! I don't have heating issues with bypass charging while playing. but after i play, i will turn off wifi and notifs, put down the phone and disconnect the charger to cool it down. I don't wanna fry the phone.

              I'm someone who dislike notifs, so this phone is always on silent. i guess maybe bc of less notifs and silent mode my battery last longer.

              No problem with speakers and microphone. i like the ai sound of this phone bc it blocks the bg noises when on call. but when using recording all the bg noises are heard.

              video quality amazing. 4k is available. i can also watch 120fps videos on tiktok

              the most function i use is color conversion bc i hate light mode.

              i like the folder feature that u can resize it.

                Babydubdub, 02 Nov 2024I actually don't advise you buy an unknown brand like ... moreBruh iqoo is much more recognizable than any trassion brand here, any second flagship that as cost as the iqoo z9x is xperia 1 ii, not recommend any second flagship in my country cause its usually from imported, alot of issue and of course, repair and biggets thing, aftersale.

                    The oneplue 8 pro looks really nice but it may have a green line issue so if you get it don't also run a software update without checking it's comment sec on GSM

If y... moreThanks for the reply, although now Im searching for an all rounder that really need to be reliable, overheating is bad for me, like I once bought Sony xz2 premium for $70 and Its always overheat, normal for a 9w soc, I regret buying it cause when I bought it, the itel p55 5g is at $85 and Its basically 11/12 of the Sony phone, like 2023/24 budget phone is insane, Its render 2018 flagship worthless in term of anything.

                      Guess I need to save more, the Iqoo Z9x is the same price as the camon 20 pro 5g now, I see the snap 6 gen 1 have a lower TDP and Its quite cool temp while playing game, all IM saying is that reliability is needed.

                        If you plan on buying it, it will definitely overheat on a game like genshin, you could practically use it to fry and egg if you go Max settings.
                        If you can sacrifice the genshin then yes all-round it's still a good phone but whatever you do never update it to Android 14

                          So I planned on buying this phone, but alot of ppl say it got alot of issue when update to the android 14, so if I buy it and not update the phone to the android 14, what's the issue ?

                          I mean now in my country the phone new price is at $170 which is insane, but I saw the latest review of this phone and it struggle playing genshin at medium cause of overheating.
                          Is it the case too when in pre android 14 update ?

                          Now IM still enjoying my P55 5G which I bought like $80

                            well, bought the Mr. Doodle edition of this phone at April of this year... the phone is great in all aspects like performance, camera, storage, speakers etc but the main downside is that, after the android 14 major update, the battery life is shorter than how it was before the update, signs are standby battery draining faster than usual, and unusually high power consumptions even in light games like Clash of Clans... so, can anyone tell me what to do? I've seen many comments here telling the same... btw is there no solution??? I don't want to exchange or sell this phone cuz it's truly unique from a developing company like Tecno to offer these banger specs (and probably good quality) in a mobile at affordable prices for a middle-class person like me...

                              I did the android 14 & HiOS 14 update today and I've not noticed any issues with it like people are complaining of.

                              The only thing I can say I don't like is the new smart panel, I prefer the HiOS 13 own.

                              But thankfully the smart panel bar at the side of the screen doesn't appear in screenshots

                                got my phone's battery "fixed" and it still shut down. Might be an overheating problem as it can still shutdown near 50%. It quickly heats up with non-hardcore games.
