Nope, Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G is still not in Nigeria. Only GOD knows why. All we have is Pova 6 Neo, which as I see as a joke and a total waste of money.
I saw some on AliExpress. But the specs are totally different. I'm considering getting one there.

Attention attention to all Pova 6 Pro 5G owners and new buyers, please do check your IR blaster is working or not, i understand you might not care about the IR like i do, but please do make a test on it before your warranty is out in future.
I can't do any remote control on TV and Air conditioner, i believe my IR blaster is originally defected since day one i got it.
I didn't test the IR initially until i tried to use it now. But it didn't work, i handle my device very carefully, no dropping on the ground or whatsoever, i believe it is the original hardware defective.
I did another confirmation by pointing my pova 6 pro 5g IR to another phone front camera lens with the selfie camera on but can't see any flickering light from my pova 6 pro 5g when pressing the tv/aircon power on/off button from the remote control app, it has no response and no flickering light being seen from the front selfie camera screen, so i confirm it is faulty.
If your IR is working, you should see the flickering light when pressing the on/off button from your remote control app.
Please do take note that human eyes can't see the the IR LED(infrared signal), you must use another phone lens front selfie camera to check your IR is working or not.
If you confirm your IR is faulty i appreciate you could highlight in this forum, if too many faulty IR, that means it is an defective during manufacturing, hence i could report to Tecno, but that's no response here, i assume it is an individual set only, then this is really unlucky for me to get the faulty one.

I've been using this phone for about almost 2 weeks now and honestly it isn't even that bad, considering its price.
Its chipset is probably its weakest point at least compared to the ones in its price range, especially for the likes of the Infinix Note 40 Pro (It even has better glass protection), in fact, I was considering the Note 40 Pro before, I mean it has OIS. I think I only ever chosen the Pova 6 Pro because of the additional 4gb of RAM, bigger battery and that it could somewhat be faster at charging, not that a faster charging speed ever really matters, in my own experience, I've only ever mainly used the low-temp charging mode.
In terms of speed, the RAM definitely somewhat makes up for the lesser CPU it has, I mean it's fast. I'd reckon that it would probably take like ~3 years at least before you could warrant yourself an upgrade from this phone. It's not like I'd ever used this phone for any intensive gaming sessions, but it does get substantially hot probably around an hour playing Minecraft.
The dynamic light really gets old fast, please do not buy this phone for the LED at the back of it, it's coolness fades away like after a day or two. Not that great of a build quality, I don't know if it's common for phones with a plastic back to not have that plastic back be hard plastic, like it feels like the back of it is not hard plastic. It really attracts fingerprints, for some phones it's manageable but for this one, you could really tell it has fingerprints at the back of it.
Anyways, good phone for its price range, wouldn't really call it a gaming phone when the Camon 30 5G got better CPU albeit smaller RAM capacity, but it has a Glass back and OIS, and it's practically on the same price range on my region.
