So I have been using this phone since the beginning of 2022.
First and foremost, this phone isn't really bad. On the contrary it's a good phone for the average phone user.
What I mean to say is, if you're the kind of person who just uses mobile phone for basic stuff like calling, social media then this phone is more than enough for you.
But I'll say that I have faced issues with this phone for some time now:
- The Face Unlock feature wasn't well programmed. It rarely functions.
- Sometimes when I decide to reboot the device (Spark 5 pro) it works alright but afterwards it keeps rebooting on its own and I don't really understand why. There was cases where I uninstalled certain apps and it stopped that weird behavior. Other times I just left the phone and later when I took it everything was fine.
But here is my overall thoughts about the phone.
For someone like me who is a tech person the phone specs isn't that good for me. It doesn't meet my gaming demands and of course I'm planning on getting a new and better phone.
For person's who play the basics games this phone might be more than enough for you but folks who play games like COD Mobile, incoming Warzone Mobile, I would advice you to not buy this phone.

I don't know where... moreTecno pova 3 is here. As long as you love Tecno so much, that right there is a better choice.
Even that one has weird specs compared to competition, but it is undoubtedly much better than this phone and released with a relatively similar price.
Around 70k+
This 2020 spark 5 pro is not worth the 60k above price I am seeing online. And I am speaking from experience. Whether you believe me or not is your cup of tea.
I have tried to inform you like a fellow human being.
But it seems people will always blind themselves with what they want to think.
Helio A25 here vs Helio G88 on pova 3
60Hz here (very poor screen btw based on my usage. The phone can't even carry that 60Hz properly) vs 90Hz on pova 3
720p display here vs 1080p on pova 3
Mono speaker vs stereo speakers on pova 3
Much better GPU on pova 3
All these improvements for similar pricing. Wetin you wan tell me now? It's good you know the facts.
Don't tell yourself your phone is good for the price when it's really not.
Afaik, this phone should be worth 30-40k nothing more.

All... moreNah hold on. You're right, that is essentially the proximity sensor carrying out it's normal operation. Blacking out the screen *when you cover it*.
But as a user of this phone for a year+ 2020-2021, I can confirm:
The sensor develops an issue where it blacks out the screen when a call is placed or Whatsapp voice messages are playing, Without you covering it. So basically it's a hardware problem.
And no, my screen wasn't damaged. Not even slightly.
Also it's 2022, this phone and it's Helio A25 is slow. Not VERY slow, I mean, it got the job done, but still. It is enough to frustrate you in the long run.
I should know. I upgraded from this to a Redmi note 10 pro. And the experience is miles different.
Whoever says this phone isn't "laggy" performance-wise, is lying to himself. Period. Don't buy this phone. There are better options.
Though I'm not aware of the current price, I'm sure there are similar priced phones with better value.
