The new phones of the week
We had a busy week with over a dozen new smartphones being thrown our way and in case you missed any of them you’ve come to the right place. We’ll round up all the new phones here to make sure you are up to speed.
Realme kicked off proceedings on Monday with the global C17 and the Narzo 20 trio headed to India. Sister brand Oppo gave us the newest member of its Reno4 family - an SE phone with trimmed down specs and even more aggressive price.
LG had a quartet of mid-rangers to announce - the K42, K52, K62 and K71, while vivo came just short of that number with its three-strong V20 series. Add in the vivo Watch however and it’s four a piece, the two companies tying Realme for most prolific brand of the week.
HMD unveiled the entry-level Nokia 2.4 and 3.4, while Samsung introduced its long-teased and oft-leaked Galaxy S20 FE. The new S20 phone is certainly the most intriguing of the week and the only one to crack the top 10 of our popularity chart.
The final announcement came from Ulefone, who unwrapped a 5G version of its Armor 8 rugged smartphone.
